created a topic 63-0-2 ATS trend for Conference Championship games
in NFL Betting
Since 1970, in Conference Championship games where the line is less than 10 points, the winning team is a perfect 63-0-2 against the spread.

So based on this trend for Sunday's games, if you like the favorite don't worry about giving the points, and don't play the ML. But if you like the dog, you should play the ML instead of taking the points.
 
Overall teams that win in the conference finals are 68-6-2 ATS since 1970. All six non-covers were double digit favorites:

1983 Redskins -10.5 vs. 49ers 24-21W
1991 Bills -11 vs. Broncos 10-7W
1995 Steelers -12 vs. Colts 20-16W
1999 Rams -14 vs. Buccaneers 11-6W
2001 Rams -12 vs. Eagles 29-24W
2008 Patriots -15 vs. Chargers 21-12W

Alabama will be favored vs. Miss St. by how many?
                                        Auburn?
                                        Sec Championship?
                                        National Championship?
 
These are just guesses i know it all depends on who they play in the latter two.
Reason i am asking- Because i want to see if it would be worth it now to take Bama +  for the Chip and then bet the moneyline on teams against them. 
For example- Bama +350 to win it all-1000 to win 3500
Miss St. moneyline +1000 for 100-win i am even lose i am down 100........and then so on and so forth depending on spreads u would have 900 left to play to break even if bama loses.

I am probably like alot of people out there today.Loved the pats, under, then giants, then over...Well i am going with what i know. Pats and the over+Pats ML Favorite and the over hasnt come out in the SB in a while(about 10 years) So many stats...but i basically think a tight game=good ratings and the pats will keep it close for about 2 and a half quarters and then explode.... Just like my boy Mr.Kraft said..keep it close early for fox and then well see.

I cant come up with any reason that the giants could beat the patriots. It's impossible.What i am saying is that this is the only way i could see them winning outright.There's a reason why they made it to the superbowl...No one believes. Sorry...got caught up in the moment of dumbness. Just tired of getting screwed in the nfl.Anyway...The team that wins the super bowl plays on a Thursday to start the NFL regular season. Would the NFL open up the 2008 NFL regular season on Thursday, September 11, 2008? (This marks. the seven-year anniversary of 9/11) I think it would be a possibilty if the giants won. People have kind of forgotten about 9/11 and what better way to remember than playing a football game. The NFL is all about money! Giants suck. But i have a funny feeling they win outright and this would be the only way that i can explain why.
