we are 3-1-0 to start he season
keep in mind guys when you handicap tonights game Storm vs Tulsa that there are no direct flights from Seattle to Tulsa, they have to switch planes and are on a 12hour trip, i cant give a pick for various reason, but there is a reason for that relative high spread ans all the Hype about the Storm cheers Roxxyfish, your #1 WNBA source

I send out to my guys this morning Tulsa +15.5 and Atlanta -4
I know they limits are 250 at Pinnacle , but hey anearly bird I cant post my picks here but i have a free play i really like guys iposted this already at another forum Connecticut/Washington OVER 147.5 , bioth teams have several good shooters, Hartley Latta Lawson Bentley Jasmine THomas, Connecticut will be doing much better than most expect from them, even with Chiney Ogwumike sidelined they signed some solid veterans with Camille Little and Dtricklen , not to forget Elizabeth Williams the #4 draft pick from Duke, 147 is set way too low with all these shooters anf the point spread is set also to high, 6 points for a road team on opening day is a joke

it is the last official WNBA preseason game tonight at 8:00 PM EST the already banged up New York Liberty
with their clueless coach Bill Laimbeer plays a team from the Minnesota
Lynx that obviously is not interested in the results of these preseason
action, their first preseason game the Lynx lost by 23 points against
the Mystics without even really trying after Laimbeer waived their 2
promising rookies Amber Orrange and Lauren Mincy and Epiphany Prince is
in Europe playing Eurobasket 2015 the actual Liberty roster is down to
12 player so the odds for this game from -8.0 in favour of the Minnesota Lynx seems logical, but as i said Carol Reeves never paid attention to preseason results in the past, and
the Liberty are already under pressure with the season not even
started, I have the feeling that it is not a bad bet to take the Liberty
plus the points here tonight regular season starts friday if you want to follow all my WNBA premium picks contact me on twitter (Roxxyfish) or my website so my recommendation NEW YORK LIBERTY +8.0 -120 5dimes |

is this guy for real?
I hate this shady character and his behaviour, 2 years ago he ran Leilani Mitchell off the league with his silly comments, the whole team last year was playing aginst him, he failed to reach the play offs 2 years in a row with a great team, this year he transefered the world class spanish point guard Anna Cruz who had a rock solid year, the Liberty traded for Draft picks
the Liberty drafted 2 of my favorite College Players this year , Lauren Mincy from the Maryland Terrapins and Stanfords Amber Orrange, and boy oh boy after Laimbeer ran off Cappie Pondexter to the Chicago Sky he had the chance withthese two TOP rookies to finally go for a play off spot what do i have to read now Bill Laimbeer waived BOTH of them WTF?? is this guy for real, in my initial post i already wrote this guy wont make it through the season, now i say he wont make it halfway through the season :) good job Laimbeer, first he ran off Cappie Pondexter and Anna Cruz, now two of the best rookies the league has to offer ,considering Ephiphany Prince is playing in Europe because of her commitment for Belarus i predic these deason will go even more worse than last years these 2 articles taken from lovewomensbasketball.com New York Liberty has waived guard Laurin Mincy, the team has announced.
New York Liberty has announced that guard Amber Orrange and center Shanece McKinney have been waived by the team.
Considering Epiphanny Prince is currently in Belarus, playing for Russian National Team, the Liberty has 12 active players in the camp with whom they can begin the season.
who ever was responsible to give Laimbeer another chance in New York should quit his job |

already told you yesterday Tulsa and Seattle will win again , i mada a big write up at another Forum under my nickname Roxxyfish and at halftime it looks like i was on spot again ;) Seattle +8 is the right play too , there will nothing change today

Storm @+8 has definately more value than Tulsa , I dont think Mercury will turn things around within 48 hours, again all the european committed players wont play and with this big amount of new players and rookies it takes time to adapr a new system, the Mercury started with their obcious regulkar season starting five yesterday but after 8 minutes they were not even interested any longer and tanked the game, i am afraid the exactly same will happen tomorrow, I am sure Kalleena will hit some 3 pointer tomorrow, yesterday she did not tried
I really think Seattle will win again easy, if you want to bet tomorrow its Seattle +8

Monique Curry needs to learn Brondellos system first its Seattle Storm again or no bet, cheers

big WNBA pre season game is going on this morning at 2:00PM EST
Kaleena -Mosqueda Lewis who broke all records during her NCAA career maybe the best shooter the WNBA has seen(even better than Taurasi) Mercury with great additions to their roster, excited to see Monique Currie (one of the blockbuster aqquisations in offseason) and the spanish point guard Marta Xarguy, I am not a big fan of pre season Basketball and I am missing odds on the Total here, Currie with her physical play and her experience, but also the signing of another WNBA veteran Noel Quinn and the return from point guard Leilani Mitchell to the league will help the Mercury with their mission to defend the title if I have to lean a side here it would be the Champions Mercury -4.5 , I have also no Info on how the 7 game suspension for Brittney Griner is handled and preason games count towards the 7 game ban the Mercury Roster have so much depth and will be ready to defend their title, for the Storm is to say that the 2 exceptional rookie stars have the potential to start a new era for the Storm, overall I dont see them playing for the title but a play off spot in the strong Western Conference should be no problem

well the odds are good and Tulsa and Seattle are the only with value, I am a big Tulsa fan since MarionJones days and I monitored Cambage long before she entered the WNBA, I dont think Liz is going to play, but with Amanda Zahui the have a great center now from the Draft, overall Tulsa is further improved and have a serious play off shot this season but thats it, I disagree with Diggins being one of the best point guards, there are a few better ones out there, some of them the most americans does not even have heard of,there are some interesting europeans entering the WNBA,Diggins is surely a great player but she needs to improve her physical skills, the best point guards in the WNBA are Lindsay Whalen (still) Celine Dumerc, and as i said watch out for Marta Xarguay from Spain, these are my TOP 3 point guards , my prediction for Tulsa is #4 in the Western Conference behind Mercury ,Lynx and Seattle

the first 2 pre season games took place tonight the Chicago Sky played the New York Liberty in EDD home @Delaware the Sky won 83-55 Elena Delle Donne led the Sky to a easy victory with 18 points, Cappie Pondexter with only 5 points in 12 minutes playing time
in the second game the Tulsa Shock blow out the San Antonio Stars 81-51 Skylar Diggins with 17 points in 22 minutes already in good pre season form, the #2 Draft Pick Center Amanda Zahui in her first game for the Shock with 12 points in 18 minutes and 11 rebounds on saturday we have Connecticut vs Indiana and Washington vs Atlanta |

?another player will be missing games because of Eurobasket , Epihany Prince from the Liberty American guard Epiphanny Prince will play for Russia this summer in EuroBasket Women 2015, she has confirmed to Assosiated Press As a result Prince will not make her debut with New York Liberty until very late June or early July. Judging by the fact that Russians have already confirmed their squad for the upcoming tournament in Spain, it seems likely Prince will join the Russians after that tournament, sometimes next week perhaps. Prince was on the Russian preliminary roster, announced a couple of months ago, but since then there has not been any mention of her or her American-Russian compatriot Deanna Nolan, who was also on that list. |

the second Team i take a short look at are the reigning Champions Phoenix Mercury
the shock news for all Mercury fans came when Diana Taurasi announced to sit out the 2015 season,Phoenix coach Sandy Brondello spend the offseason together with Taurasi in Russia at assisstant coach and it is obvious that the decision to sit out have financial reasons,Ekaterinburg denied to pay Taurasi to sit out but i dont buy it,the same is for Candace Parker but that was not all more bad news came in last week when the WNBA suspended Brittney Griner for 7 games after the drama of domestic violence with Glory Johnson BUT with all these aspects , I still think the Mercury have a good chance to defend their title because they made some very good additions to their roster, with Monique Curry from they Mystics they signed a player with great defense skills that can also shoot the ball from any distance, very physical, also Shameka Criston from the San Antonio Stars, another veteran and 3 point specialist,of course Taurasi will be missed from long range but the Mercury have a few great 3 point specialists Leilani Mitchell is back in the WNBA after playing in Australia for 2 seasons, she left the New York Liberty because Bill Laimbeer said she is too small for the WNBA and have not the physical strenght , she became a Australian citizen and memeber of the National Team and won Bronze in the World Championships last year, she could share the point guard position with Marta Xargay, the rookie from Spain is one of the best point guards in Europe and an international experienced player, she won the silver meda withSpain in the World Championships the depht of the Mercury roster is amazing, some promising rookies from the Draft pick and the re signing from De Wanna Bonner who had a great season in Europe again are all steps in the right direction, also names like Jasmine James,Noelle Quinn(another great aqquisition) and Cayla Francis comes in mind when i think of the Mercury 2015 all 3 have potential, especially the veteran Quinn my prediction: the Mercury will fight with the Minnesota Lynx for the #1 spot in the Western Conference, there is nothing between those two teams, I dont see the absence from Taurasi that dramatical, the 7 game suspension from Griner ?? if the Mercury comes out good from that all is set for another great season

i will try to preview the teams from my point of view the next days, lets start with the LA Sparks the Sparks will have a very tough season after Candace Parker announced she will sit out the first part of the season and Sandrine Gruda stays in Europe, with Candice Wiggins the Sparks lost one of the few backcourt player who can shoot the ball from long range, last season the Sparks were the worst team in the league from behind the arc,how important Candace Parker is for the Sparks we saw last year when she was missing a few games the only real 3point shooter left is Kristi Toliver and she will be missing a uncertain amount of games again this season due to her commitment to Slovakian NT Brian Agler brought veteran Temeka Johnson with him but i cant see this will help the sparks , we have to wait and see how the rookie class will do, but i dont see a future WNBA star yet,the Sparks signed two promising foreign players, shooting guard Ana Dabovic from Serbia and the Australian Center Marianna Tolo, Dabovic an experienced Euroleague and International player, Marianna Tolo won Bronze with the Opals in World Championships last year where she replaced the injured Liz Cambage positive for the Sparks is the signing of Erin Phillips from the Champions Mercury but absolutely essential with the absence from Parker and Toliver,Sparks need to improve their pick and roll, also defense was a problem last year overall I cant see the Sparks in the play off picture in the strong Western Conferencer, my prediction #5 or #6 in the Western Conference
