created a topic August 31, 2008 in Penalty Box So far this college football season special teams have destroyed me. Miami Ohio's place kicker couldn't kick the ball past the 20 yard line on kickoffs and their punt team gave up touchdowns. Wyoming takes a 14 to 7 lead then immediately gives up a touchdown on the kickoff. Unfortunately this early in the season special teams are the most difficult part of the game to handicap. Today there is limited action and I am taking action in the area that special teams won't be much of a factor. Kentucky and Louisville are bitter rivals and Louisville has had an explosive offense and heavliy leaking defense so take OVER 56 in the game today and be happy with a winning day during opening weekend action. created a topic August 28, 2008 in Penalty Box Welcome to College Football 2008. To start the season off on a fantastic note here is a 2 team parlay. Miami O. -3.5 points. I know the match up at a glance is intimidating since Vandy is a SEC team which brings visions of overpowering teams like Florida, Georgia and LSU but Vandy has no returning offensive linemen this year and right out of the box they have to travel to Mia. O. and we all know how MAC teams get up for contests against teams from BCS conferences. If this game were at the end of the season then Vandy might have a chance since they would have played several tough teams in conference and be battle tested but this game being in week one spells disaster for Vandy. Miami O wins this one by at least two touchdowns. South Carolina - 14 Not much to say other than NC State is a bad team to begin with and add the fact that they have several key players not playing due to injury. created a topic June 30, 2008 (day 13) in Penalty Box Posting Forum Manifesto Guildlines 3) Try to be civil. We know, we know. Sometimes it is hard to contain yourself when somebody is acting like an asshole. But we know from personal experience that nobody wants to read a full page of flame posts either. It's not fun. So at least try to maintain a sense of dignity-plus it shows a lot of class. I offended this guildline and have been place in the Penalty Box for that offense. My daily affirmation: From this moment forward I will choose my behaviors more diligently. It has been 17 days since the last time I bashed a Covers Forum member. A wonderful day to all Covers Forum Members. I hope all is going well for you. this is my 13th day in the Penalty Box and this is the 18th topic I have posted since being sent here. I thank all the members who have supported me in my rehabilitation. Today is a hectic day so if you address me there maybe a long delay before a respond but I will respond when I get a chance. What church do you go to that the preach GOD's word is to go out and gamble large sums of money. How did you get into a situation that you were betting so large of stakes to lose over $82k in two months? Why are you just now creating a membeship in Covers Forum and posting about this after you are ruined...what do you think we can do for you now. We could have helped you before the money was gone.
