I've stayed at the Holiday Inn near the beach once, must have been 7-8 years ago now. Is that still there?

The big joint in New Lambton?

That place is the Leagues Club for the Western Suburbs Rosella's, probably the most successful (albeit, rich and hated) Rugby League Club in Newcastle. Matt & Kurt Gidley, Jarrod Mullen, and the Battler himself are all on the Wests honour roll

The place is now basically a casino / 5 star hotel etc. It is huge too, bigger than probably all the Sydney Leagues Clubs except Penrith maybe.

They underwrite the Knights $1 million a year. In return, they are in charge of the catering at EAS.

Newcastle (Knights) don't have a Leagues Club, so they certainly try and keep a good relationship with Wests.
