absolutely. Coaches are accutely aware of how the dollars are stacking up at their clubs when it comes to players they can / can't target or retain ect. Their jobs hinge on the results and results hinge on players. They play a massive role in the number-crunching process at all clubs.

You rightly say that Bellamy is a shot duck. One of the highest profile coaches in the league, not to mention the NSW coach.

Players will have to come out as well. Player agents too, they get a cut so they'd know every fucking dollar their clients earn.

How many Melbourne players will see out the year at the club?

The eastern seaboard is big enough to support the game, it has for 100 years.
