JT, I would think that Brisbane's signing of Inglis fits within the rules of the cap. In fact, I have far more suspiscion of the 2006 GF winning side than I do this one.

The simple fact is that the cap is flawed. Brisbane have a massive advantage over pretty much every other club in terms of supporter base and capacity for corporate dollar which in turn then helps assemble/retain a team.

Lockyer is on $250k in the cap...

So is Adam Cuthbertson for fuck sake

Brisbane can sign Ben Hannant and Greg Inglis, both of which would he the highest paid in their positions, along with Origin players Darren Lockyer, Peter Wallace, Justin Hodges, Sam Thiaday, etc, plus upgrades to existing first graders

Canberra can only attract Brett White

Newcastle gets reserve graders

Cronulla gets NSW Cup players

However Brisbane do it, it is not fair.
