Cody - thanks bud, ballsy turned into a kick in the balls, but I suppose I'm playing with house money and the US advanced, so no reason to dwell on yesterday's losses.
Sweden, though not the best team on the playground, has, for me, developed into one of those sides you don't want to be against. The performance against Germany was enormously impressive. The win itself, but to do so after being down 1-0 with their style was award winning in the tactical adjustment category. Netherlands has looked all the part of the next big thing on the woman's stage, and yet, still, they seem to have this vulnerability that teams in the Cup have touched, but haven't been able to crack. Sweden is not the opponent where you let those vulnerabilities show. In watching yesterday's semifinal, it's clear and obvious that teams just aren't comfortable holding one goal leads. If someone thinks the US wasn't lucky to walk out of there without seeing extra time, I encourage you to watch the match again. Even more so in this match, I see less confidence in these two clubs to hold a close lead, and, in this one, even 2-0 might not be one where comfort sets in even mildly. Sitting on the Dutch to hoist and considering a hedge off that a bit with Sweden to advance here, but also considering just letting things roll. I don't see a regulation winner in this one for much of the reason laid out above of not being able to hold a lead.

Settle, just wanted to stop in and say 'well done'.xplanation not necessary. nice to see someone else provide info on their 'tourney' wagering. its one thing i spend a lot of time on pre-tourney with futures and if done properly it can set self up nicely.
dont do in-games much, but (discussion only) one of the things worth the while for example buddy had a biggie riding with England reaching semis; so when they scored first vs norway he tossed a little on norway to advance at a fraction of the cost for an even larger payout. he did the same thing with swedes when germany went up 1-0 and hit the motherlode. risky, but just hitting one of them could probably set one 'straight & proper' for the entire KO rounds. mens or womens tourneys.
its an interesting concept to say the least. i didnt even bother to ask what if swedes & norway had scored first" so ur kind of playing with fire a little.
anyways, this has good chance for xtra time as well.

Spec - thanks my friend, appreciate it. I like the strategy of stalking the live betting after a goal is scored. Soccer, unlike all other spots, has big movement with one score. Considering an in game at the moment on the over 1.5, but may let the draw ride and see if I can get + money again on one team to advance. Currently even on both, which makes sense given the first half. I’d be curious to know of your tourney success, far and away, the best read in the forum and it showed in the results of your investments
All that being said, they won’t always be winners, but providing a basis for a pick, to me, is more of a win then throwing darts in the dark. In the long run, the darts will never succeed over good, quality research

I think if we see one goal, we see another. Possibly by the same team. So hedging that potential, but also a chance to double down on the draw if this ends 1-1. Mostly just being a degenerate

Settle, figured id come in here first. made a few plays on a whim with europa qualifiers but didnt have time to post.
regarding tourneys? dont know if you really want to hear all of it, got some time so maybe ill give it a shot; it just takes more time to explain than actually making the plays. gives the impression ya spend hours upon hours of pouring over stats and what not when really it isnt the case at all. already know what to 'look for', or should say already know what I want to do. it not an exact science but if ya do it right ya can put self in some really nice spots. and i agree, 'tossing pasta on the wall and hope something sticks' tends to cause more trouble than helping (unless its a homeristic italian squad. laughing)
like that saying goes "things are easier to find if you know where to look" or something like that.

Spec - good stuff my friend and always want to hear a good piece of strategy. It’s going to be tough going back to local matches, but we do pick up CL, EL and continue on with Euro qualification. I have some futures there already so may pick your brain when that swings back into action

I’d love to get this over +200, certainly didn’t expect that before the start, but now knocking on the door I want it. Sitting on the Dutch future but I’ll get into that more tomorrow

Well, dropped 33 units on the third place match. I could rant about VAR taking away that second England goal, but then I’d just be a sore loser, so I’ll stick with just being a moron for wagering on the third place match.

Hedge financially and emotionally in this one, but I’m seeing some things I like that I’m imagining most aren’t. I think folks see a runaway victory for the US, and, while very possible, I don’t see it
