Its the group of death for a reason denmark is no slouch i doubt portugal dominates them like everyone thinks.

Denmark have had a very good hold on Portugal the last couple of years.

I appreciate the discussoin and opposing viewpoint....  In fact, I cant argue with what you present.

Denmark beat Portugal in a very important game (win and get in) only 6 months ago 2-1.  Cant ignore that. Although it was a home game for Denmark.

This is the first pick of the tournament that I dont have a solid statistical backing for the pick - it is more gut feel - so I cant argue when you present that Portugal is individuals and Denmark plays well together.  Portugal did take the earlier qualifier 3-1.

GL - good discussion - Just allowing myself to go on a gut feel (and I say it in my writeup) on this one....

Square or not, I can't make a case for Poland today.  Poles will likely need two, and I just don't see it. 

Much like an eclipse, I can only watch Greek games through smoked glass.  I hate the way they play, insufferably effective as it may be.  Didn't the bore their way to a Euro title a few years back?  That's one more than Englad has. 

Speaking of England, nice work on identifying just how crap they would be.   Will be very lucky to avoid 4th in the Group. 

Great start to the tournament for you.    I prefer this Euros to the World Cup  , at least WC's played in Qatar, or in front of crowds armed with goofy horns.   I'm going to go to EURO 2016 in France, if I'm still above ground.

I will say the Poles are very and I mean very pissed at the Russians. My beautiful wife ( see avator) is a Pole.
That said, they all expect to lose.
I will be rooting for them but they are up against it.

Im going for it on Russia.  I think htey are a class above.  And i think this Czech performance so far might give even more insight in to how good they may be......
