Brazil v Serbia:- European Handicap (Serbia +1) +188 1 Unit LOSE
= -2.00u
WC 2022 REC:- W1-L2 -0.60u
Post Match Analysis:- Terrible day today where to start? Firstly 0 shots on target in the Korea game yikes! That's a World Cup record I expected one side to show some urgency, very unlucky Uruguay hitting the post twice if they score different game, Suarez looks off it Korea showed great energy and appetite but lacked that quality in the final third, attacking in patches instead of constant pressure applied on the Uruguay defence was the approach needed.
Serbia weren't a great watch tonight Brazil were impressive there not the same side without Vlahovic & Kostic providing more threat in attack, Mitrovic was isolated and didn't even want to get involved questions will be asked by his Serbian comrades I'm sure, overall tactics were totally wrong by the Serbian coach you just can't sit back like that for 90 minutes, very worrying signs for Serbian backers.

Qatar v Senegal:- Senegal Over 1.5 Goals -110 to Win 1 Unit Goalscorer Anytime (Boulaye Dia) +200 0.5 Unit
Netherlands v Ecuador:- Half Time Result (Draw) +120 1 Unit
Analysis:- For obvious reasons I'm backing Senegal even without Mane they should have enough firepower to score a couple here with Dia, Sarr & Diatta, both teams will be going for the win so expect goals in this one.
The other game in this group will be cagey as both sides with 3 points won't risk too much at the start, first half draws are common so far this World Cup.

Quite unlucky in the Netherlands game, but happy Ecuador & Valencia managed to score futures on them looking good. Ecuadorians are some team with amazing energy agility and stamina England the likely last 16 opponents will have there work cut out all depends on the fitness of there talisman Valencia as a strong system always needs that touch of class to make the difference especially in World Cups.

Poland v Saudi Arabia:- Full Time Result (Poland) -137 to Win 1.5 Unit To Win to Nil (Poland) +163 1 Unit Goalscorer Anytime (Piotr Zielinski) +500 0.5 Unit
Analysis:- Poland should win tomorrow and were getting nice odds because of Saudis shocking victory, defensively they looked strong I just hope they show more urgency in attack from the first whistle constant pressure on that Saudi backline for 90 mins will allow some golden chances just like Qatar did today. No bet on Argentina already a lot riding with them on futures still want to watch them closely before laying any more coin on them.

Post Match Analysis:- Poland did very well to control that match and the crowd thought the PK was a little soft but Matty Cash should've seen a second yellow card for his elbow, one of the best goalkeeping displays of the tournament so far, throughout the match the Poles allowed Saudi Arabia to have the ball whilst conserving energy for the counter just like I said this Saudi defence will give away golden chances, I don't think Robert Lewandowski would've envisaged his first World Cup goal coming so easily. The only reason I liked Poland to progress through this group is because of how poor I thought Mexico would be this tournament and boy was I right just look at there performance tonight.
Poland have a nice set up and solid spine the coach has them drilled well but going forward I don't expect them to do anything post group stage, Argentina defended well and Scaloni should take some confidence from his substitution decisions hopefully Argentina can kick on from here as long as they are solid not create any holes along with Scaloni making right team selections and the players put in a shift the magic man (Messi) will get them far just watch the 2014 World Cup there manager was playing 5 at the back with Zabaleta & Rojo as wing backs it was very defensive and solid but Messi dragged them to the final, some times teams can only win this way to be compact and rely on individual class from GOATs.
Don't think I will lay anymore on them to win the whole thing, futures on them reaching the final is more than enough skin on Argentina.
No plays for tomorrow match ups are solid there is value amongst the matches but I can't see which side will win there all quite even except for Japan but those prices are just suicide for a team like Japan, good luck to whom ever can get a sweep tomorrow.

Top Team Goalscorer:- Enner Valencia (Ecuador) +225 0.5 Unit WIN

WC 2022 REC:- W8-L5+7.90u
Post Match Analysis:- I expected the Dutch to win by more +550 for such a technically gifted player seems high but that's Frenkie's only 2nd goal for the national team so was a risk but I expected him to penetrate the holes and he just reacted faster than the defenders, another GS prop winner thats 3-0 for the tournament so far.
Ecuador gave a good effort I think they were the better team than Senegal the whole tournament but that saying 'peaked too early' I think similar to Iran if they went into the final game with 3pts & 1 point for Iran it would be a different mindset for the teams, Senegal shown there tournament experience with a world class spine of Mendy, Koulibaly & Idrissa Gueye they have that strong base to get them through along with talented players like Sarr, Diatta, Nampalys Mendy, Diallo a good squad although the value was with Ecuador pre tournament they were exciting young high pressing energetic team, Plata is one hell of a player, Caicedo & Estupnian I already knew a lot about, I think they missed Jhegson Mendez in the middle with his press and physicality he played well in the first two games.
The biggest reason Ecuador couldn't make it out was the coach's formation decisions, 2nd game vs Netherlands he matched them up 3-4-3 yeah lets play the same formation as the Dutch and LVG have been playing for years I mean ludicrous decision, if you watched that game I am telling you Netherlands were there for the taking if he played the same 4-4-2 high press energy set up a W and 6 pts the Dutch never played well that match.
Final game he got the formation wrong again 4-3-3!! 3 different formations in 3 separate WC games is suicide what was he thinking? 4-4-2 Romario Ibarra should've played instead of Franco or Gruezo interesting decisions from a well respected coach.
Iran gave it a good go but when you play 2 different goalkeepers in the group stages its always going to make your back line nervous, never played well vs USA they couldn't keep Sardar Azmoun on the pitch very hard when your most talented player isn't playing at full capacity also didn't help Carlos Queiroz making headlines every week right or wrong do the talking on the pitch.
Overall happy so far hoping for better from Serbia & Poland, England winning does good for them to reach the final too.

Post Match Analysis:- Really good last 16 apart from the fluke Australia goal but these things happen in football, Argentina look solid it really helps that Acuna is settled and playing well in the side as they really need consistency from there full backs for the way they're are set up just look at how many times Acuna had space. Martinez is a beast a solid GK too good for Aston Villa, I just hope everyone stays fit barring injuries and good tactical decisions by Scaloni they have a chance vs Brazil if both get through.
Messi shows his class again a superb one two worked goal his technique is amazing the more tighter the game is, the less space he has makes him perform better, his tricks and skills during the game also boosts the whole camp with confidence, what support Argentina have there fans are amazing 2nd highlight of this World Cup Messi's kid throwing his lollipop into the crowd funny.
Senegal kept it tight not giving England any space in reality things could've gone differently for the 3 lions but the clinical finishing was the difference, great performance by Jude Bellingham but that finish by Henderson was such an important goal the timing of it crucial in fact that goal just derailed Senegal's whole plan they simply gave up after that goal.
Incredible performance by Morocco! I knew they would be hard to break down but expected them to score they really have Bono to thank his performance was an absolute joy, if you want to see a perfect 'ball-playing GK' performance look no further by yours truly, although Morocco will need to be more clinical if they want to progress into the last 4, Aguerd really should've buried that header a player of his quality puts that away I feel they need to at least score against Portugal there's only so much pressure the team can absorb, Amrabat should be playing for a Champions League club without him Morocco simply wouldn't function you understand now why Fiorentina paid around 20 million euros for him, Boufal have you found Marcos Llorente yet? Poor lad tied in knots.
Switzerland well where do I start? Never fancied them from the start knew Murat Yakin would make mistakes simply lack of experience needed for this stage Fernando Santos really did a number on him, if it wasn't for Serbia's incompetency and their coach lacking any sort of mental composure they wouldn't have made it out of the group.

Post Match Analysis:- Fernando Santos made the brave but correct call to drop Ronaldo Goncalo Ramos is the heir very talented Benfica forward offers them athleticism fluidity in movement and opens up space for his team mates Otavio is under the radar but watch this guy closely world class material watch this space playing Bernando Silva through the middle the Swiss couldn't handle him there was too much quality on the pitch tonight and great tactical choices from Santos no wonder he has an engineering degree!
Portugal need to worry about lack of clean sheets though, GK has a sense of fragility about him Dias is playing like Maguire of Man Utd his agility is so slow its like watching a truck turning he really looks completely different from his Man City days, Pepe great header but his age is a worry they need to stop conceding soft goals if they want to win this tournament, full backs are always changing too which means the coach doesn't full trust them, Dalot looked solid tonight though and William Carvalho is so crucial to the overall stability of the team they really need Danilo back though to support him.

Honestly everyone's anxious about there World Cup pick that's always the case no winner of this tournament ever looks perfect from start to finish. They've made it into the quarters with some luck they can reach the final, I think everyone thinks Brazil will win it but +333? No thanks where's the fun in that even Argentina +500/+600 is ok but with it being Leo's final farewell there's an element of romance about Argentina going all the way, I said at the start Brazil,Argentina,England are the best equipped sides to win all three are in the last 8.
In terms of quality Brazil on paper should win it, in terms of squad depth look no further than the 3 lions but Argentina have a bit of both and that true grit only the young Scaloni is a worry and the two forwards who pulled out Nicolas Gonzalez & Joaquin Correa leaves them limited in attacking depth but who knows Argentina have the best fans at this World Cup speaking from experience its a rollercoaster so many ups and downs just stay in the game and enjoy the ride.

England v France:- To Qualify (England) +110 1 Unit
Analysis:- England were the only highly ranked winning nation not to concede in the last 16 be it Senegal were non existent after the first goal, France will pose a tougher threat it will be interesting to see England's backline cope with a variety of different skills from France's front four, to Mbappe's explosive pace to Griezmann's clever technique or Dembele's tricky agility and both feet, Giroud's poaching abilities with physicality and bags of big game experience the French have the ammunition to hurt England and the backline haven't been playing many minutes for there respective clubs this season, Walker (Injury) Stones (Injury & Ake, Dias preferred) Maguire (Injury & Varane preferred) Shaw (Malacia preferred beginning of season) so all four have question marks coming into the World Cup. Maybe this will spur them on who knows I expect both teams to score a nail biter he who dares wins type of game, now this is were I favour the young lions Saka, Foden, Bellingham completely different mentality to the older generation they won't be fazed in a spectacle of huge significant and pressures take them to produce something special.
England as a team look solid as a whole Henderson coming in gives them that touch of class, balance and experience needed to craft a well balanced game needed to win knockout ties of this magnitude, Theo Hernandez is dangerous posing a threat on that left side but was he planning to be first choice? Playing well at AC Milan but defensively can lack that awareness, defensively France like England the backline has question marks Varane rushing back for this World Cup looks a bit shaky Lloris has a mistake in him too, now the managers one a proven champion the other quite similar in there craftmanship both Deschamps & Southgate don't miss a trick will the hurt of losing a Euro final on penalties give that extra edge of determination be the difference? Can't wait exciting match up could be a Classique both evenly matched & similar teams with respected astute coaches packed with individual stars in a well functioning team.
The midfield department is very interesting aspect Bellingham & Tchouameni both lack experience in the international stage which one will sink or swim? Rabiot or Henderson both high class operators Greizmann needs to be managed well by Declan Rice but there's no one better for that job than the West Ham man, I think the difference here is England's strength in depth with more options on the bench, Mount, Phillips & Grealish, Foden having the ability to play in the hole greater squad depth here if it goes to extra time.
As always have fun guys World Cup is about money management having some skin in the game and most importantly enjoying the occasion anything can happen on the world stage, Croatia, Netherlands, Morocco are all established footballing federations nothing is a lock in the World Cup so many variables exist and potentially new ones can be created, the media scrutiny is not like any other play safe play smart.

Post Match Analysis:- England were hard done by clearly the better team the French ran out of legs later in the second half, unlucky for us Kane missed the 2nd pen but these things happen. Congratulations to the French team a classy outfit not blaming the referee England gave away two sloppy goals it happens Gareth Southgate was hesitant to make changes when France were there for the taking remind you of a certain event? Same as Italy Euro final England & Southgate were too cautious when you have the tools at your disposal you go for the throat, missed opportunity for England here but from a gambling perspective I think they would've had too much for Argentina, Croatia, Morocco so that runner up future might not have hit.
Analysis was pretty much spot on Hernandez literally couldn't handle Saka all game same with Kounde the other side with Foden, France never had anyone to sub on barring Coman if England equalised the game was theirs for the taking France got lucky but respect they shown the touch of class Griezmann's cross was a joy to witness from a footballing point of view fair play they took there chances.
Well done to Morocco 10 men and both first choice CBs injured history is made Portugal were awful my post match analysis after the Switzerland game pointed to the fact that their GK looked fragile completely irresponsible from Fernando Santos to have him as No1 instead of the experienced Rui Patricio if you think I'm being harsh take a look at the final seconds of the Ghana Portugal match.
Argentina were clearly the better team its just weird to criticize them for conceding when they were just two individual moments they looked in control for most of the match, I guess was completely reckless from Pezzella to foul like that and Scaloni staying 532 for most of the game maybe could've gone for the third but as I've repeatedly said this is a rollercoaster planning preparation goes out the window nothing can replicate that World Cup pressure.
The will and drive from Croatia to make it 1-1 was admirable so much respect for Modric and co I mean what a coach Zlatko Dalic is I had Croatia to win the Euro 2016 they lost to Portugal parking the bus I had no doubt they would've won that then after they made it within minutes to a penalty shootout in the World Cup final, now there in another WC semi props to them.
What an enjoyable QF it has been I have to say one the best knockouts I've ever witnessed.

Thank you for the compliment, without the bias of holding a Argentina future ticket and applying previous experiences & football knowledge it looks a tough task casing point the price change -120 for them to win.
Reasoning is Croatia will pack the midfield Modric, Brozovic, Kovacic, Pasalic will be very difficult for Argentina to manage that essence of control, Brazil struggled to contain them Dalic is very clever and experienced in the battle of wits he has the upper hand over Scaloni, but guess who has that winning mentality? Never underestimate the power of winning a major international trophy.
Few suspensions for Argentina, Acuna is a big miss Tagliafico isn't the same player will be interesting to see if he plays Lisandro Martinez instead which I think he does, will be a huge tactical game Croatia have the edge with confidence high from beating the pre tournament favourites, no injuries or suspensions, previous WC experience and a very smart coach. Argentina will have to ride out the waves stay in the game keep disciplined and good tactical decisions by Scaloni if they want to win this, of course with Messi none of what I just said could matter a GOAT match winner at your helm does that and Croatia lack that 'game changer' to be a real champion.
Have a good one

Post Match Analysis:- Incredible Performance by Lionel Messi his skill agility and technique was too much for Croatia to handle, Argentina set up well Scaloni packing an extra midfielder (Paredes) to match up with Croatia but the difference was the two forwards up top Messi & Alvarez, simply put the energy and runs by Alvarez were causing the Croatian defenders trouble they didn't have that against Brazil unless Gabriel Jesus who is similar wasn't injured, this tireless type of centre forward play is very difficult to contain especially when you have the perfect striker partner balance in Messi who was picking Alvarez out all day with his sublime passing.
After the first half goals it took the sting out of Croatia's attacking armoury, their coach also lost some composure making frantic early substitutions without any sense, just subbing defenders for forwards was lazy the side lost it's balance and Argentina backline had an easy night, job well done by Lionel Scaloni and his men I had faith in him at the start a clever underrated coach who was toughen up by his brief hard time in England for West Ham but he's shown that Copa America win wasn't by fluke, I was just wary of his lack of experience this is a World Cup after all.
I always thought Argentina's squad had a nice balance I likened it to a hybrid version of Brazil's & England's with talented players on paper but a good strong inner depth and core just look at the Netherlands match Argentina gave it as good as they got that is the difference between them & Brazil they got past that tough Netherlands side whereas Brazil folded in a similar tight game against Croatia, these fine margins get found out at the world stage.
