America v Santos match, some initial impressions.
At 3-0 up at HT, this game has no real value. As an experienced individual at this, I know better than to push it now, and force a play that is not there. The last thing I want tonight is to make a 10K play to win 1K, only to lose it and erase the entire day's profit. I am happy with the positive progress of the day, and, recovering from that PSG debacle yesterday, to be back in the black.
Started the day 6-1-1, down -$13,250, and ended the day, undefeated with a profit of over $15,000. In sum, a very good day at the office.
Back at it tomorrow for Champions League Action.

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday! I'm excited that we have a Champions League match on a Friday (a rarity due to COVID times).
Went on a tear yesterday, and didn't lose any of my plays. I'm still hitting myself for pushing it against PSG for the Under 2.5 which cost me big and set me (temporarily) back. That said, I'm grateful to be back in the black right now and ready to attack today's matches.

Today's Matches
There's a couple of matches prior to Champions League. Qatar, Egypt, and Russia all have some games to play this morning. Depending on which streams are up and available to watch, I will hopefully get a little morning action in, and roll that into the big 3 PM match. I will update you if I make any morning plays.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - BARCA v. BAYERN
The marquee matchup of the day, and a wonderful event to cap off a week. Let's get the obvious out of the way. Bayern are the better "Team". The odds indicate this, and seasonal form has indicated this. Bayern are strong at every position in the field, play cohesive, are always a threat when they go forward, and have the best striker in football. I do not play sides pre-match (I'll only take a side late in a game when I think the other team will not score a goal.) I imagine many people will jump on Bayern, and logically, this makes sense.
However, this is Barca's magic moment. This is to salvage their season. Messi changes matches. (Do you recall that fancy footwork in the CL against Bayerm that made Boateng look like an idiot?). The motivational "us against the world" factor is on for Barca, because they have been ridiculed. Their manager will likely be gone next season, so Barca are doing this for themselves. A motivated Messi, elevates the play of the other players. Yes, they aren't as good as Bayern, collectively. But the Messi Magic is nothing to be discounted lightly.
What I anticipate is the following:
Bayern will either (1) ROLL and dominate or (2) Barcelona will maintain a draw through regulation time, and possibly force extra time.
What indicates which will happen? Scenario 1 will occur if Bayern score first, and score early. The longer the match stays at a draw, the more this benefits Barcelona. All it takes then, is one moment of magic from Messi, and Barca score, and hold on for dear life.
Scenario 2 will happen if: Barcelona score the first goal, and Bayern equalize fairly quickly (maybe within 10 - 15 minutes after Barca goal).
You have to remember something here. This is the Ultimate Prize for both powerhouse teams. I could see some risk early in the match, testing each other. But the longer the match progresses towards the end of regulation, and things are level - the less risk these teams will want to take for fear of getting knocked out. This leads to a more cagey, defensive, "careful" posture. In which case, bettors will get GREAT value in the 75-79th minute by taking an Under 1 (if game is 0-0) or Under 3 (if game is 1-1) or even Under 5 (if game is 2-2). If any of these scorelines exist at this minute of the match, hit it hard.

-$13,250 + X = $2,750? That is the equation. Please solve for X.
Assuming you graduated from middle school or highschool then the answer to X would be: $16,000.
-$13,250 + $16,000 = $2,750.
If Day 1 is -13,250, Day 2 is $16,000 then I currently sit at $2,750.

Jim, obviously you are a respected vet around here and I am in no way a Stan for this Mezzi guy. However the lost in translation bit is getting a little old. IF, and that’s a giant IF, his plays ended as he said they did, he did make $15k profit in 1 day, but based on his being down $13k the previous days, his OVERALL profit would actually be $2k roughly. All the other stuff you get frustrated with I get, the editing of a play seems shady to say the least. But I don’t think the $15k profit in a day statement is a lie. His overall profit is $2k. I actually enjoy this thread because watching someone risk $10k-$30k for $1k is like watching a train wreck, you can’t look away. He either gets run over or pulls out a miracle relatively small win. Crazy style. Never would do, fun to watch. I don’t know a fraction of the football you guys do but I love watching when I can. I usually play very small round robins on a bunch of draws or high dogs. Small investment, large gain. Had seemed to be profitable but I don’t bother posting because I don’t really think it helps anyone or appeals to the folks in here who really lock into true capping of a match. Anyway...
