Copa Lib is back - and this week's matches present "do or die" moments for many teams. Much like Jennifer Grey in Dirty Dancing, these troubled teams find themselves fighting for their lives, because ... say it with me . . . channel your inner Swayze . . .say it . . . "because" . . . "because nobody puts Baby in the corner." So - we have home teams - backed into corners - playing for their lives. . . these sort of matchups in my mind result in one of two outcomes: (a) re Dirty Dancing, the conflict resulted in one of the greatest movie dance scenes of all time . . .; (b) re soccer, goals, . . .goals . . . goals. . .

No Suazo or Pavez or Villar for Colo "to the second power" . . . that means second string keeper. Paredes is playing so hopefully no drop off in Colo Colo firepower. Atlas' back against the wall. I don't want to polute your thread....my notes and there are some similarities but differences...
Palestino -234 to win against Zamora as u stated Zamora is down and done...but I never lay -1 1/2 goals but was gonna use them in a parlay with the -234 with my only other play but since I got my play at +103 in No. Ireland why risk adding it....ha. I also agree lean on the over but I don't play leans ...if Palestino gets up 2-0 could just end there but for over players I agree it should hit just a lean to me.
Guarani at home vd Racing should be playing very hard but Racing does have quality and can be very stingy allowing goals. We knowxGuarani can score but I'm not so sure they want to get into a shootout with Racing and leave themselves open.....they will try to win as they need to but how they do it I question. Lean Guarani and lean over but again I don't play leans.
San Jose v Juan Alrich.....
My noted say one word...."under".....but when teams need a win sometimes things care forced open....just a Kean on the under....
Atlas really needs to win vs Colo Colo....we agree....plus Colo Colo sitting OK so as u mention they sitj a few soldiers but they areca quality team......this was the hardest of the 4 games to cap for me.....over/under and a side were really hard for me to figure so of course I passed....

I figure you are good at Copa Lib and So. america so I know you will cash most....but ya know the way I run shop...if I can't put a 70% + chance on what I think is a winning ticket I just don't pull the trigger....
I do like to check after the fact....I compare my notes with results and check back with most of you good cappers to see how comparrisions ended.....believe it....I learn more about stuff after the fact than before....its something I wish I could teach all serious cappers.

I am so bummed . . . because I really did want to wager on Puebla and the over - primarily because (a) I wanted to reference the fact that Puebla came so close in the Fall of winning Copa Mex . . . (b) and I am dying to use that great quote from Moonlight Graham about how it was like being "this close to your dreams . . . and having them brush by you like strangers in a crowd" . . .but alas, due to Puebla's predicament in domestic league, (and the fact that it is now dumping all assets into avoiding relegation) . . .I'm backing Monterrey.

A huge part for me on tonight's games boils down to "MOTIVATION" . . . losing tonight for these home teams is like having a burglar rob your home safe . . . so so much money to advance in this tourney . . . and here we are tonight . . . with teams standing with their toes hanging over the canyon ledge . . . I just imagine greedy owners fingering their pocket books in anticipation for tonight - demanding that their coaching staff have results or "pack a bag" . . . that's got to be some immense pressure. . . I'd say a million dollar bump for an ownership (just picking a number out of the air) that advances in So. America has so much more value than a million dollar "blip" on the radar screen of some wealthy arab team owner . . . so tonight's go to word for me is "Motivation" . . . too much is at stake to slow play tonight . . .

Your point of motivation is well taken and I to try to incorporate that after I deal with numbers and situations....

Racing do have a good defense, but they weren't able to keep clean sheets in their home Copa games, oddly enough. The pitch at Guarani seems to favour scoring, so I'm rooting for early goals and in bunches.
A bit surprised at the Tachira / Cristal line tomorrow. Cristal PK seems ok with me. These guys seem to underperform when expectations are high, but relish the underdog role. No Lobaton...

Poignant comment re the "first two" . . . I filed for divorce yesterday . . . .we tried and tried for 3 years to find common ground . . . and we just inexplicably couldn't find peace.
