I will be honest and I said this earlier in this thread a little bit...
I am not factoring weather yet. I want to see how it plays out. If I see something, I will adjust. But for me to say that hot weather will have a bigger on a European team than a S American team is not something I am willing to do - YET.
Travel - maybe a little. But overall - I try not to let speculation on these types of things have an effect on what I bet until I see it and understand what I am seeing.

A NOTE ABOUT THE LINE MOVES.....
I post lines that are widely available at American facing books at the time I post. If lines move before you bet, you need to react accordingly. It is safe to say that I bet relatively more on lines that have moved to make more value on my already placed bets, and grin like a schoolgirl when lines move in favor of my bets.
So today - the Italy line at PK is now available at about +100, and the Japan / Ivory Coast total has gone completely nuts and is now at 2 upwards of -170.
I would not bet the over in the Japan / IC game at -170. If you missed it at -120ish up to -135ish, you missed it.
For those that like Italy, you get a few more pennies in your pocket.

Yeah - I don't know. It is described as a "very light ankle twist" to Buffon.
Certainly you would have think I have learned my lesson with being burned by some pretty bad GK so far.... But I am not concerned yet. I will wait to see the lineup....

The other book here yesterday had 2 OVER -130 and I bet I can still get that today...
Today I am rooting for Colombia. I do have Greece +1 EV (yes that is correct) and decided to be a fool and hope for that to push and took Colombia (against you Van, sorry! I don't do that often) -125 on the 3WAY 3Units.
GLTA today and the best thing I guess is for those of us who really love this game. This has been a decent looking cup so far (Bad calls not withstanding) with some great passing and ball control, great offense and even Australia and especially Croatia looking great, Mexico who I generally don't like has some cohesion and looks like they may have "flipped the switch".
I lost 2 U on Spain but loved seeing the Dutch get revenge on a lousily officiated WC final 4 years ago.
I am not sure why Chile didn't just park the bus with 2 goals as Van mentioned - especially since Spain is -4 GD out of the gate.

What is the reasoning for a line being .25?
