I am pretty new to this contest and my is  . . . PATIENCE. Pick the right game with the right line. I know that sounds pretty easy, but the goal is to get to 21 or higher, no matter how long it takes. You have up until a week in between picks. Take your time and good things will happen. I am 26-12 so far and just lost after a 10 game run. Will try to contribute more in here and share but that is my 2 cents.

I could probably say the same thing about K State beating up Kansas last week. I didn't have much respect for K State after many sub par showings but they gave Kansas a respective beating that I among many never saw coming.

hey guys... ive also just started doing the contest recently... ive been on covers for a year but never tried it until now... I've actually gone 8-0 to start off(it'd be cool to get a hat at least) and I was looking for some opinion on mondays slate of games. I have a few games i'm leaning toward but I'd love to hear some opinons... thanks a lot

@DJCBulls-In regards to your asking about tomorrows card. I suggest you take the day off. You have a W8 live to fight another day. Tomorrows card is light and thats never a good sign for streaks. Read the other post on our thread which emphasize patience. Good Luck.

Decided to take today off... i don't like anything i see   Will continue again tomorrow... Also than everyone for their support  it really  feels awesome to have people supporting you

Thanks smooth.. at this point I've narrowed it down to 2 plays(fla/nyi over and 'nova -3)or none... leaning toward not playing anything today.. good luck everyone

Ever since Premier Edge enlightened us with the Fade the most popular pick theory, I have been following it and it's hitting like 90%. Now I have only been following for a week or so but I'm gonna try this and see how far I get. Wish me luck!

Horrible first half, the game misses over by 3 points. Every freak in year I can't seem to win the pick before or after the all star game over. What a waste of a win.

Villanova misses a wide open 3 and the under wins. I had the Cuse for W1 but the over 135 on the league contest. My bad luck continues with Western Carolina getting a steal and hitting 2 free throws to cover the -3.5. Can't wait for the new month to start.

Our friend SuperK would have had a W17 now and gotten $1000 had he hit the over last week in the Illinois game. He was our best chance to get the cash.

@Big Louis-I had a bad feeling about you tonight. 2 reasons your original thought was to take the day off (best choice) and then you were going to pick the over in Chi-Stl. Great call but then you went with your third choice.Doomsday. Better luck my friend. Get back on that horse and go all the way next time.

Gentlemen We need to have a meeting. We have had several good streaks blown away this week simply because we are caving into the pressure of picking every day. We have had several members now preach patience. We have to make this our mantra. There is a psychology that works against us when we have big streaks. Like the thought that you will miss something by not picking. Remember that 1 game will not determine your fate but if you lose you're starting over. Let's focus on quality picks and not picking everyday once we have a W5. Lets have a good week like we did last week and get mentally prepared for huge streaks.

 I think we should give serious consideration to this Fade the Consensus theory. I don't know if it will keep winning but by my calculations that should be 8 in a row on the Fade theory. This could be a huge weapon for us. Lets put it into rotation. I won tonight on the Wisc-Green Bay using the Fade theory and MSC(MakeSumCake) did as well. Lets make it our goal to have a winner on this thread by April 15 Tax day.

Guys I understand that we all would like to win this big prize but I have a better idea.

What if you just started with $100 and layed it down on 1 team and if it won you keep doubling your bet the next day or next selections. All you have to do is win 8 in a row and you have $50,000

My mistake, 8 in a row makes you $25,000. 9 in a row makes you $50,000 and 10 in a row makes you $100,000
