a) I would have gone to bed 45 minutes ago instead of waiting a few minutes and trying again, then waiting a few minutes and trying again, then waiting a few minutes...
b) Could we at least change the message? If it tells me I can't make a pick because I have a pending pick, I assume it's just a lag between the time the pick is graded until the time my pending status goes away. Make the message something like, "You can't make another pick today," or "Come back tomorrow."

Wolverjag Talk about retarded this new format of covers prove that they are retarded. It is as bad as Microsoft coming out with new windows that are pieces of schit instead of trying to figure out what is wrong with the previous ones. Not there was anything wrong with the old covers. when i click to see what a person is 'PENDING', i don't want it to go to the same page i was just on, i want to see that users pending pick, like it USED TO DO

I had a streak of 4 and my deadline to make a pick was on Dec. 2 so I go pick Indiana and it did not let me. It had to do with the consensus on the game. WTH? Why should that matter?
Who cares if everyone and their mothers is on a particular side/total?If that was a sign of what the outcome was going to be then books would be out-of-business.
Covers already limits the games you can choose by not offering all the games on the board and now you can make certain picks b/c many like that pick?
I understand that it's a "Free" contest and all for us to participate in, but let's not forget that b/c of ALL OF US repeat visits to this site as well as the new visitors, Cover's generates income from all the advertisers. That's not even taking into consideration all the commission from those that are redirected to the books from Cover's link that end up depositing money!
Needless to say my streak went to zero b/c I missed the deadline! (I logged off and I was going to come back later to make another pick but got caught up doing something and I forgot)

Are you guy's that impatient that you can't wait until the following day to make your pick ? You have to make the next one as soon as your previous one is over ? Geez , give em' a break , after all the promo's and free info. they offer to handicap the games and your still not satisfied . Shame on you .

2nd time this happened to me now, I picked Seattle on Sunday vs the Vikings and it says my pick submitted only to come back later and find out it didn't really submit and have to make a different pick. I just picked Xavier and submitted it but because of Sunday I go to make sure it shows up now and yesterday it worked fine.... today it wasn't there again and I have to either make another pick or try to submit the same thing again. Sunday really made me mad because I would have won but ended up losing because of it. Flaws for sure, the other setup worked lots better.

Happened to me today. I took the Islanders over Philly. Pick said it submitted and my streak didn't extend with the Islanders win. When your going for most monthly wins something like that could cost you big time

We are launching a new pick deadline functionality which will show your available time left down to the minute in which you have to make a pick.
No longer must your pick be on a game played within 7 days of your last pick; rather you simply must make a pick within 7 days of your last regardless of game time.
