FWIW, when I came up with this system, I backtested using 5dimes closing lines.  However, whenever the line is really close to a pick (basically the favorite is -106 to -109), I bet the chase team on the +1.5 or the +1 runline, regardless of who is the actual favorite.

Okay cool, that's pretty much what I've been doing. The Angels won yesterday so in the end it's a nonissue. 

And it's no problem, thank you for finding it!

I just got a new job in the morning, so from now on I'm just gonna list the plays without odds and grade based on the closing line. Just remember to grab the +1.5 if the team being chased is a dog.

I have been playing this system as well as Cisco's 5-run system using the 2,5,8,10 unit money management.  After a horrible start, on May 5th I had lost over 25 units, I am now over 33 units won.

Beef, I use the -110 filter for these plays the same way as the original system. It eliminated SF last night.

I use the +175 filter as well. Should not happen too often.

Thank you Bart. I don't see the filter listed in flawareagle's original post so I'll continue to track without it. For now I'm grading anything over -105 as a ml play. The -110 filter does seem to work well though; so using it on a personal level could be a wise choice
