Hey Jenjay sent you a friend request. This sheet is awesome thanks for posting. Want to confirm are you playing all 4 of these systems? It's my first yr playing these so just had a few questions as I was going over everything. Also do you use $100 for tracking because I see $100 you usually list to win $50 ea on your tabs thanks in advance

Stickbit, didn't see your request so i sent one back to you. I do play the 4 systems. I use one other filter on the plays I make and that's personal discretion. That being said I would guess I play about 80-90% of the games identified. The sheet helps me identify plays but if other capping tools and trends makes it not feeling right with me, I dont play them. The $100 is for simplicity, but yes my labby uses 0.25 of a unit (X4) on each line or 1% of starting BR as a first bet on the progression until the line is clear.

Thanks Jenjay - are you starting tonight I take it ? Full units ?
Stick, Since the sheet only pulls data from this years season, I try and hold out for at least 5-10 games played before playing TOPVRPI, RPIDog & Topdog.....and really pick and choose the games I play early on for simply action. Yesterday since the Kings play there next 4 @ Home vs Cgy, Buf, NYI & MTL, I chose to play the Kings, since they lost I will follow up with them vs BUF.

Thanks, I figured as much, I think I'm going to wait until close to Nov to start up. I saw VRPI seems like the strongest system and was looking over sheets last couple yrs...how about the other systems? Any numbers or backtesting available - I guess specifically for home chase / road fade as those are newer right?

This will be the first year to truly test and track the home/road theory. In years past I utilized the thoughts of DR24 and CKP's MLB second half ideas and incorporated them throughout the year in NHL. I moderately played the qualifying games on my top pick labby lines last year and noticed success. I certainly kept an eye on games as they arose and identified that there was a possible edge. This year will give true results. Back testing is more difficult to get a true number as top and bottom teams and PWR rankings vary throughout the year and on a day to day basis. A quick test, just to see if there was some proof that the concept will profit was using top and bottom teams on how they finished the year, this shows really good, but will not reflect end results I will see this year. Time will tell and hopefully it can show some profit.

Thank you sir! Last question- it seems VRPI proves to be the best and most consistent - did you go back far on that one or same issues/problems backtesting

Stick,
That was just the last day I updated the link here on covers. I usually play until sometime in March or until I feel its a good time to stop. If you want to see how it faired after the end of January I updated the link from last year. This is the link to last years sheet.
