Here's what I have found:
Almost no one is hitting for San Diego; No. 3 batter Chase Headley is in a 2-for-17 skid.
Padres right-hander Joe Wieland made his Major League debut April 14 against the Dodgers, and they weren't kind to the rookie.
He allowed six earned runs over five innings. But since then, Wieland's last two starts have yielded promising results and he will try to continue making progress when he toes the rubber against the visiting Brewers on Monday.
Wieland's second start came against the Phillies, an outing in which he gave up just one run but lost. The 22-year-old suffered a similar fate in his latest start vs. the Nationals when he served up two runs but lost again. "After those two first two innings at Dodger Stadium, I was pretty comfortable since then," Wieland said. "I've had no nerves. I've just been going out and doing the same thing I've been doing the last couple years."
A Brewer's fan was quoted "Cheer up, Padre fans. Brewers suck! against rookie pitchers!"

You can't see it when you piss people off cause you are so ignorant. You don't write off games when their only in the 5th inning, You have to be a naive, ignorant imbecile when you have NO clue as to how speak in these threads. You need to stay off the computer and go to your momma cause she will give you a warm nipple.

J Damon is here , here is some trend lines on jd
since 08 his b.ave has went from 303 to 282 to 271 to 261 to ???this year
range has deteriorated about 20% since 08
his w/k ratio last year had a major drop of to the worse in 14 yrs.this yr ??
his salary 06-09 13mil 2010 8mil 2011 5.25 mil 2012 1.25 mill ,sounds like a bargain right, well 29 other teams didn't think so..
BUT, some people have a magic about them that brings lightning out of a bottle , so if he can do that , he will be a good addition, if he can't then he brings manny more headaches on placing a lineup on the field because he is one dimensional player now, and there will pressure to play JD.. , SO he could help the indians or COULD HURT THEM... not the kind of addition this team needs..
a GOOD right handed bat could ONLY HELP this team..
