The System: Play every team on the money line when they’re the dog
How its organized: 7 game chase on each team individually (should never have to chase this deep, see comments on poop!)
How to wager: initial wager is a risk of 1U, then 2U, then 4U. If first three games lose, all subsequent bets are “to win” previous loss amounts+ 1U. (will drop initial wager to .25U-.5U after 30U gain)
How to Filter: +150 or less only. Also, do NOT play any dog that is on a three game (or longer) skid.
What you’ll need: BR 100U(minimum)
This is an example of what it would look like if we chased the Reds (as dog only) to win 1U and they lost their first 4 games(as a dog), but eventually won the 5th. Remember, we filter out 3 game skids…this example ONLY demonstrates the chase/wager sequence amounts :
Game1:Reds+125wager 1U to win 1.25UReds lose, bettor loses 1U (let’s call this “L1”)
Game3:Reds+105wager 4U to win 4.2UReds lose again, bettor loses 4U(L3)
Game4:Reds+115wager 8U to win 9.2UReds lose again, bettor loses 8U(L4)
Game5:Reds+130wager “to win” 16U (previous losses L1 thru L4= 15 + the 1U you are trying to gain). Risk would be 12.3U in this case.Reds win, you bag your unit and start the chase on the Reds again!

Now for a little word on poop!Remember, you’re playing with dogs…and dogs poop, it’s a fact. If you don’t clean up the poop, it stinks up the yard (your “risk position”, in this case). What I consider to be poop in this system is a game4 (or worse). So, to keep your yard from getting to messy, I advise you to clean it up when you have the opportunity(specifically, a positive BR gain). What I mean here is that if your bank roll is in the positive, re-set your “game4”s(or 5’s, or 6’s) to a game1…clean up the poop!

So for example, if you're chasing the Angles and Game1 they are +130 and they lose, then the next day the Angles are -130, you DO NOT play on that as Game2, right?? You would wait till they are dogs of up to +150 again, right??
Just want to make sure I'm following this system correctly

Am I seeing it right for today... would every game qualify as playing on the underdog today????
Dave, still waiting for a clear dog to emerge in Cards/Bucs and Sox/Tribe games at my books (Cantor and Boyd for this system)...if one does not emerge, I will most likely pass on those games. If you have a clear dog at "even' or plus $, I'd lock the play in. Otherwise, I should be posting my plays around noon EST. GL

Is this system backtested with proven results from previous years?
I've used this system in other sports with success for the past few years and translated it to MLB last season...hit my 30 unit goal in three weeks, and cleared 118 units for the season. That doesn't sound like a lot, but my units are fairly large so it was a decent BR increase.

So if you're currently playing on a team and they lose their 3rd straight as a dog of EVEN to +150, you avoid them their next game because of the filter of 3+ game skid then, right??

Hi again Chaser,
One more question just to clarify...

3 consecutive losses disqualifies a team regardless of "dog" or "fave" status in those past three games...simply put, if our dog is within our parameters of EVEN-to-+150, make sure that they have won at least one game out of their last three. This filter is meant to avoid "slumping" teams

Hey chaser i have a question. What happens if a team goes 0-3 during the chase. Do you wait for them to win again to continue the chase? Or should you start the chase over for that team?

I resume the chase after a win

So because Twins and Padres have both lost 3 straight, we avoid them until they win a game, and then resume the chase as Game4 when they fit the EVEN to +150 criteria... correct??
