After more thought, I think I agree that Giants are better. It also never occured to me that it's the Indians home opener, hence the large ML

I guess I can't say too much, as I haven't ran it yet, but the thing that I like about it is that even if you suffer a 3 game sweep, it's only costing you 7 units. Not a gargantuan blow if your units are $100 like mine. So as long as you make $700 in between sweeps, you're in the black.

It's not relevant anymore, since Giants were PPD, but the fact that they would be home underdogs for the entire series makes them a good play in my opinion. I mean, the Giants just took 2 out of 3 from the Dodgers in LA last week. Also, I mentioned that the other series (KC @ CLE) was the Indian's home opener, and I would rather not fade them because of that.

Oops. My mistake. Still holds true, though. A series split would be a success for this system. I like that they split their 2 game series this time around as well (PPD Friday). Also, I think we should put a little more stock into intra-division series like this one. Rivalry games always seem to have at least one close game in the series that could go either way.

The postponement on Friday kept me from starting the system, so now I will start Monday with a bunch of new series starting. There's a few good options this time.
Marlins (home) vs Mets
Padres @ Rockies
Braves @ Nationals
Tigers @ Indians
Twins (home) vs Astros
These teams should all be underdogs for their entire respective series'. I'm not looking to pick the best ML value, just trying to choose the one with the least chance of being swept. I'll probably change my mind before Monday evening, but as of right now, I'm thinking the Twins. Thoughts?

I would say the Braves. They are leading or near the top of almost every offensive stat. They have won every series they have played so far. And, the Nationals are on a 5 game losing streak. Not sure if the Braves win this series but, I don't see them getting swept. Just my opinion. Good Luck!!

Very true about the Braves. I just hate that they're facing Scherzer, Strasburg in games 1 and 2. It would be AJ Cole in game 3, however, and he would be very beatable after seeing seeing Scherzer and Stras in the first 2. If it even comes to a game 3.

Nice hit on Milwaukee in game 1! Personally, I didn't think that series was an option, as I figured Milwaukee would be a favorite in game 2 or 3.
That is also the first post on this thread. I could be wrong, but it was my understanding that he only played road dogs because it was easier to ensure that they would be road dogs for the entire series. However, most average teams facing Yankees, Astros, Nationals, and Dodgers will end up being home underdogs for the duration of their series. Getting the home team only makes it more appealing to me.
I'm not really sure of a good source to find a team's history in a specific ballpark. Can anyone provide one for us?

Twins beat Houston to cash that series. The Braves, however, have now lost each of the first 2 games against the Nats. Gonna need Atlanta to avoid the sweep on Wednesday afternoon. Yikes!! Already in serious danger

Thanks dumazz. Getting spooked, beause my book (bovada) currently has Atlanta at +103. Never anticipated them maybe not being dogs

Haha yeah. Came throuh. That's all that matters to me. And for the record, I believe he was safe stealing home. They reviewed it on replay and I think it just wasn't quite evident enough to be overturned.
2 for 2 YTD with the dog chase system :)

I like the idea of dog chases but not sure this would fly.
dogs can run, but they run outta gas.
dogs are the only way too make money in sports betting

Some new series starting today. System options:
Rockies (@ Nats)
White Sox (@ Twins)
Padres (home vs Giants)
Which is least likely to get swept? Thoughts?
