Hi Sportsnetwork,

I communicated with you a few months back. Just curious what your total Units are for the entire baseball season up to this point? Thanks again for your thinking and the hard work.

Hey SN,

Could you give us more insight into your money management? There were some great value plays yesterday with the moneyline, but you would have had to nail all the big payouts to be +12 units. Just wondering how you weight the games after handicapping them?

It's been mentioned before in this thread.
For a rough estimation
8 units on each RL, 4 on the ML and 2 on the totals will get you a little over 12 units as well.

SN himself said that he varies his RL and ML plays from 4 to 8 units depending on the lean. The difference in the 4 unit plays from the 8 can essentially put you in the red vs. the black. I am just trying to glean how he derives the 4 unit RL vs. 8 unit plays.

Ok, normally I would defend SN on the money management aspect. And this has been brought up a couple times before in the thread. But if you were to go off the RL=8, ML=4, Totals=2 then there is no way you could have hit +12 units on the last day mentioned.
 
The RL went 4-4 which would result in a modest profit. The ML went 0-1 which would result in a 4-6 unit loss. And the totals went 3-1 which would result in about a 4 unit gain.
 
There is no possible way that by using 8-4-2 that you could be +12 units after yesterday.

At 8 units a play the 4-4 RL plays would be up over 13 units.

No, I think with all the great work SN has been doing, he may have finally realized that alot of people on this thread is being ungrateful and nconsiderate toward the work being provided.   So take a 'Wake-Up' Call and instead of always taking and critizing, try to be understanding and helpful

In this case, it turns out to be the former. I checked the math, and it works out.

Thank you RaleighDevil! Well said. The information age is a beautiful thing, but the human interaction and nuance of conversation has become lost. There is no question that SN is on to something and we are ALL appreciative. Without the questions and answers and reexamining of the system, this form is a very different system than on day one. I believe for the better. I think SN would agree. Like they say in grammar school, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people.  (and I'm not insinuating anyone is stupid here, so relax.)
