Elite ~ Great point. However, anyone reading this stuff hopefully has the brains to understand money management and plan accordingly. That -14.88 is definitely BRUTAL, but I don't think ANYONE would mind losing that one as long as they picked up the other 71-73 wins. I certainly wouldn't, that's why I posted. Not battling back at all at you. Just sayin...
Oh, one more thing. I personally am playing twice the confidence on the Top 5 Homers compared to the Top 5 Roadies. Same with Fading Bottom 5 Roadies compared to Bottom 5 Homers. I just trust the Top 5 Homers to win one in 3, and the Bottom 5 Roadies to lose one in 3 more than the other two.
I'm also following very closely the gassed road teams with a Losing record o/u thing. That seems to be working like a charm. It made me take C-Bus & the O on that game.
Cheers all

1hr and 45min until the Canucks come on! (most money I've ever had on one game in my life)!
Wish me luck Eli, Expert, CollectNOW, and others...I need it...bad. I may lose a wife over this (okay, maybe not that bad, but losing $1,500 in a week wouldn't go over too well).

Hey everyone! This is my first post here, Ive been following your guys' post/comments for about 2 weeks. Just wanted to say, you guys are AWESOME! ALOT of good info on here. I've been doing my own research/backdating trying to come up with somewhat-reliable systems. I like the system you guys are playing, and I'm definately interested in following LSU's system that was just posted...seems to be some potential there. Out of curiousity, does anyone here bet on other that NHL? NBA or MLB perhaps? Just wondering, cause I'm trying to find a decent system to use for those (other than the usual morrison systems). If you guys have any advice for me it would be greatly appreciated!
Keep up the good work everyone!
And good luck to everyone with tonights plays!..........Seahawk, sounds like your life is on the line tonight...good luck buddy!

Yeah Eli, I'm loving this start, but they led 2-0 against Columbus not too long ago (and lost that game).
Guys, I've been retarded with my account this week, but the Canucks can give me new life tonight. $1,000+ with a win, $1,500+ with a 2-goal win! A loss means I may be out of action for a while.
Wow, almost a 3-0 lead...come on Canucks!!!

I've been following this thread for a bit. Some advice for seahawks and everyone: you need to plan your bankroll if you're going to chase like this. You need to be able to afford a few 3-game losing streaks in a row. You don't know when they'll come, but they will. It would be a shame to have one or two wipe you out and then sit there while the next 50 streaks all come through.
Finally - with all of the discussion of variations, why not just use the last 3.5 years worth of data on the site to see what works for sure and what doesn't? Catalog all 3+ game streaks at home and road, the results, and see if there is real potential, see if you need to drop certain teams, etc. I know it's a bit of work, but any of the theories here can be tested over a bigger sample than just one season.

Also - seahawks - I'm with you on the Canucks tonight. I hated to do it, but I'm sticking with my system. I took a bath on them last month with the 4 game losing streak. Not sure what I'll do if they choke it away tonight. Is there an icon for: punch-to-the-stomach?

Yeah Marny, it was a great moment and amazing goal. My son stayed up and watched it with me, I'm sure he'll remember that for a long, long time (I know I will)!

WOW!! what a huge win! Amazing game! Congrats to everyone! Especially Seahawk, I was rootin for ya man! Disappointed with OTT though, I figured that would happen. I think marny had the right idea with the fade chase...

WOW , really the only word that comes to mind as I'm watching the highlights this mourning. I can't imagine having to sit through that kind of game but gotta admit that's why hockey is such an exciting game.
What happened yesterday night was just simply amazing and kinda overshadows the fact that Vancouver let the game get away when it was 2 - 0 and almost 3 - 0 with the chances they had.
Must have woken up a neighbor when Burrows scored that shot-handed goal hehe. Congrats to all that had the balls to stick with the Canucks this time.
Sea - Just wanted to point out that I've been there ( without the wife part ) and won these kinds of games before and let the rush get to my head too much. Only advice is stick to the basics and don't get too overconfident even though thats what usually comes after these games that you had a lot of money on. Let's all get back on track and not lose any member on this thread.
Unlucky187 - That is some GREAT advice. You are absolutely correct. As for back-tracking this 2-3 years, I'm not that big of a fan of doing that because it creates a sense of false-hope when you see great results one year and jump on board the season that it crashes down. But, seeing that I have a spreadsheet that could help me do it, I'll try and get it done soon.
Again, BOL to everyone with the upcoming chases . Hopefully, now that Vancouver is done with, everyone has seen how this system works and how hard it can be to get through a simple 3 game chase.

Quick question for you guys...I'm playing the Detroit series but made the mistake of betting the -1 for 60min instead of the ML on game 1... I'm sure Im not the only one. For those of you that lost, are you continuing this series even though its technically over with the game 1 win in OT the other day?
Also, how are you guys playin OTT and Minn? OTT is makin me nervous....I think marny is the only one that played the fade...

Detroit has PHX and EDM coming up to close off the home stand and that means JUICE. If you are comfortable with 2 game chases with regulation lines, then this is for you but the safest way to deal with this is to hold on to that push and let Detroit play without risking any more money on them.
As for OTT and MIN, expert will be following the original system posted in this thread so that means considering them a decent home team and expecting them to win at least one game.
Ottawa is a bigger problem. Marnypoly's play was perfect because I did not notice that Boston was coming into town. Can they bounce back tonight? Tough question but I'll be following the system anyways so that means taking the Senators. Nothing wrong with a home dog once in a while .

I don't have Ottawa on my spreadsheet, they aren't a top 15 home team. Minnesota certainly is (14-9) though.
Two other teams I didn't have on my spreadsheet: Vancouver and Colorado, burnt me badly, so I'm sticking to the top 15 only from now on and hammering the top 5 teams.

Sounds like a great plan. Quick question though. By limiting yourself to top 15 home teams (we talking about current right?), how are you gonna deal with the extremely juicy lines you are gonna encounter? -1 lines from 5dimes or going with the regulation? Do you have a specific criteria like -200 lines?
