@degengamble - is there an easy way to update your spreadsheet with the new rpi everyday? not that its hard as it is, but if your spreadsheet can save time, i'd like to know more about it.
todays plays are NYR and VAN
i wish i kept track of units won-lost, or at least just the win-loss record. has anyone been keeping up with it? i didnt start the system at the beginning of the season and all the plays arent listed on this thread.

I wouldn't mind if you sent me the spreadsheet. I created my own and am experimenting the 3 condition system. Using the PSGH we would use the Home teams average goals at home+ away teams average goals against when away/2. Then I do the same for PSGH (away teams average goals for when away + home teams goals against at home/2... Not sure if it will make much of a difference but I think this make it a little more accurate bc some teams score a lot less on the road and give up a lot more goals on the road
Just send me a PM with an email to where to send it.

Handsdown - it's tracking at 64% from 11/18 to date
The spreadsheet you created updates automatically everyday with the necessary stats? So all you have to do is pick the two teams you want to compare and it gives you the play? That's pretty awesome.
Ya, definitely email it to me. My email address is listed on my page here on Covers under the comments. Much appreciated.
That condition 1 system has 7 plays for today. Quite a lot.

@trychome - yeah I can send you the spreadsheet I set up - just send me a PM with an email to send it to - and i'll shoot it over.
It's quite simple - I just cut and past the entire RPI table from the ESPN url in one tab - and the pivot table in the other tab takes care of the rest - you just pick the teams that are playing from the drop down.
I have both RC's RPI system and the 3 condition system (PDF) in excel.

And if anyone has some type of fileshare available online - maybe that would be the best way to share the files with all people checking into this thread.
So they can get both systems in excel - if they want.

Degen, google docs will allow you to perform the functions you're looking for. It also allows you to limit who can read/write to the file. This might be the easiest solution. Thoughts?!?

Thanks to FrankShades for his fileshare suggestion :)
I set up a fileshare on Google Docs with RC's NHL RPI SYSTEM in excel - here is the link
Also - If you are interested in another NHL system that I found on the web. Here is the link for that in PDF format that explains the system in detail. As I mentioned in earlier posts - I use it in conjuntion with RPI's system - it just produces a few more plays. It's tracking at 64% 11/18 to date. Unfortunately I have not been tracking RC's system seperately.
Lastly, I will a spreadsheet with the 3 CONDITION NHL SYSTEM - but i wanted to clean it up a bit - so will post that later today

But I don't want to derail this thread - lets keep this thread around RC's RPI system - so please keep the 3 CONDITION SYSTEM questions to a minimum.
But no plays todays for RC's RPI SYSTEM - BUT
DET (50) ROAD - is close - I'm staying off it but it's close to the 60 RPI needed for RPI system and meets the 3 CONDITION SYSTEM
Just an FYI
I think I got confused. That 3 condition system, in order for a game to be an official play, does it have to meet the criteria for all three of those conditions? I thought each condition was a separate system.

@ Handsdown - it's detailed in the PDF but if you review the PDF it states it must meet at least one of the 3 conditions.

@degen - thanks man. looks like u put a lot of work into this. i'll test it out tomorrow since there arent any plays today. and the rpi cut off is 60 for a reason. i started with 50 and racked up a couple of losses.
no plays today

I agree with you trychome - I'm off the play as well - but check out the 3 condition PDF and excel file - its a play per that system - but agreed not to derail this thread
Also if anyone is interested I have a spreadsheet for NBA that uses RC

If anyone is interested I have been messing around with RCs system and 3 condition system for NBA - and put it in excel - maybe someone who likes betting NBA and knows more about it can add some filters and figure out how to use it for NBA
Just a thought
