Each person is looking for a system that will provide them with plays to make them a great amount of money consistently (I hope that's all of our goals).
Instead of looking to one, why not look to a few to get the job done. If your goal is to make 50K, then why not use 4 or 5 "solid" systems/services to make it happen. Now all you need to get is 10K from each over the course of the season, year, or whatever. With proper money management, that's not hard to obtain. Simply play the picks and monitor how each does after 2 weeks, 1 month, etc. If all are profitable, then you now have 4-5 different methods to make money. If some have lost you money, re-evaluate to see if it may get better down the road or if a better money mgmt exists. If both of those answers are no, then I suggest you evaluate dropping it.
I'm a believer in solid systems and only a few services out there that I feel are pretty legit as I've done the necessary homework on them. I also have handicapped games somewhat successfully in the past. But for me, it got very old spending hours breaking several games down, looking at stats and trends, etc to formulate my opinion. I would prefer to do other things in life like go to the beach, spend time with family, movies, play blackjack, or whatever, instead of sitting at a computer handicapping games for hours on end. Instead, I have placed my time into putting together a portfolio of strategies that I know will produce money for me at the end of the month, season, and year.
I admit, I am a somewhat lazy gambler when it comes to getting the plays, but I am relentless when it comes to setting up and monitoring my strategies' success rates and the money they produce. So while lazy, I consider myself taking a very smart approach that continues to make money over time.
Good Luck in your future wagers.

Good post S A I N T S. I did not mean to jump PSIC's thread. Just saw the conversation and jumped in. Per your writeup, it would be nice if Sports Cappers/Services were evaluated Independently and rated like the sports books. Listed on some web site and their weekly or monthly results published. Findin 3 or 4 good ones could cost a small bundle as so many are just hooks, looking for a wallet to snag. If you wish and know of 3 or 4 that have a good track record, shoot me their names at my email.
