Well I was right on not taking NYY, but wrong big here. Wheels came off late, but the MIN bats just couldn't get it going against a very mediocre pitcher. Blew it with the bases loaded late, too. Had some opportunities.
Loved the line movement on this game. Despite a decent amount (~40% I believe) on PIT, the line moved big in favor of MIN (-170 @ open to -195 according to S&O). So Vegas and/or the sharps lost on this game. Can't say I mind being on their side...
Anyway, on to tomorrow for Series 10 Game B. Looks like we're laying serious juice tomorrow with NYY with Joba on the mound against Stammen. Love the Yanks in this spot. I would be shocked (knock on wood) if they lost this series to the Nats and they should finally get some more runs across in this one.

Absolutely.. I laid off the Yanks 2day as well. Actual, passed on RL system completely. The Nats were actual a good play 2day (did I just say that?!?!) and ur right, -200 (-220 at one point) was absurd.
I'll be lookin for Joba to get it done tomorrow afternoon an expect Damon, Tex an company 2 have a BIG game against a young kid who will be in awe of toein' the rubber at Yankee Stadium. The juice will be HUGE again.. an every right so.
Yankees Big.

I had a unit on the Nats to win. So I was doubly pleased with that result, I guess.
Today's bet is the Yanks, as mentioned. I am doubtful the game will go 9, in which case the RL will be a PUSH no matter what, but this was locked in this morning, so can't do anything about it.
06/13: Series 10 Game B
NYY RL -1.5 @ -151
System YTD: 9-0
Overall YTD: 9-8-3

Not playing COL today. Line has not moved/gotten slightly better for COL despite heavy public play. PIT may very well pull the upset here. Ohlendorf is scrappy and keeps them in ballgames and their bats have been speaking fairly loudly lately.
It's gonna be the public play that has moved the most and that is MIN today. Line has gotten around fifteen cents worse for MIN and they have around 70% of the public on the ML. That seems about right and Vegas opened it pretty high, too. I like Slowey in this spot against a HOU team that hasn't seen him before. Metrodome is always a big advantage for MIN. And Houston got in late last night from Texas while Minnesota stayed at home.
Play: 06/13: Series 10 Game C
MIN RL -1 @ (pending ML -142 with RL +145 on MB)
System YTD: 9-0
Overall YTD: 9-9-3
By the way, I fucking hate the Yankees. I hope Girardi really grilled them after that PATHETIC outing against a AAA pitcher.

Keppinger up, Tejada on deck with the big bats after. So it would be wise to make sure you get this out so the later bats hit with none on. Keppinger career splits: vs. L .341/.396/.502 SLG with 8 HR in 311 AB vs. R: .257/.310/.340 SLG with 7 HR in 682 AB
This guy is a lefty masher. His OPS is nearly .900 vs. lefties. So obviously Mijares, a lefty, stays in and he promptly gives up a homer and Nathan promptly comes in to nail Tejada with a K.
But in the bottom of the 8th with 2 on (by the way, Cecil Cooper is a twit for letting Oz pitch that many...over 120 down a run here), Erstad misjudges a Delmon Young liner badly and two runs score and the Twins win 5-2.
Thank God. Bailed out here...finally an anti-moose.
Anyway, system is now 10-0. Sorry for the rant. Moving on to tomorrow. Looks like the comeback Cubbies, BoSox, or Twins again. We'll see how the line moves. Not touching the Weaver Bros. matchup. Wouldn't be surprised to see Big Bro try to step his game up tomorrow. Would suck to lose to your little brother, although Jered is clearly superior talent-wise. Or at least mentally, because Jeff's stuff is actually pretty good.

Really sorry guys for not putting my input into this today. Was a busy day with Wimbleton then I went out to see Year One 2nite. Very funny movie btw, highly recommend to anyone who wants a good laugh.
I had wanted to post my play earlier cuz I REALLY hated the RL Fav. today bring TB. I mean, come on.. really?? David Price is highly touted an all and the Rays are Hot.. and the Phillies are ice cold I know, but that's exactly the reason you PLAY the Phillies 2nite!! They have been miserable at home all season for some reason, but are the #1 road team in the Majors @ 23-9. And when a team is slumping like they have been, everyone knows the best place for them to be is on the road.
So my apologies for everyone who had the guts to play Game 3 on Tampa today, but my play tonight was Boston. In fact, I had decided I would play the Red Sox on the RL for the entire Washington series until I cleared. I was a little pissed off when I got home and saw they were only up 4-3 in the 8th, but thankfully the good ol Sox had one of those classic Red Sox innings where they explode.
For those who have to chase Game 4 tomorrow night, I recommend using Boston again, and again in Game 5 if necessary.. which I doubt will be.

Sorry for not posting either guys. On a business trip in Raleigh and haven't been able to get onto Covers. I actually did play Tampa as Game 3...that worked out terribly. With the way Lannan's been pitching decently, I liked Tampa. Moyer is terrible and Tampa usually crushes lefties. I figured Price would pitch well and I thought Howard would be out for this one when I locked it. Oh well...
Scarily, I do like Tampa tomorrow, too. Garza vs. blanton looks juicy. Blanton is historically terrible at the Trop. But then again, he has been pitching pretty well lately. Garza is a rock at home, though...
It'll either be Tampa or Boston tomorrow. Lester isn't the same pitcher away and I did get burnt by Stammen last time. Hopefully Murphy's law works out for me and Tampa and/or Boston wins here...we'll see.

Murphy's Law as in Stammen burnt me with the Joba game last week and Tampa burnt me tonight. Garza actually burnt me with a 1 run win last week too when I was on the -1.5. This is obviously not a betting strategy...just my rambling speculation.

Crazy ass RLM on the Rays. When this happens, I always look at the next day to see if it's possible that Vegas is letting the public win two in a row and then screw them big tomorrow. It's Bastardo vs. Sonnanstine with TB -123. That really doesn't seem like much of a trap game and I doubt it gets that heavy action.
So, I'm rolling Tampa again. Garza is money at home and let's hope he comes through again. Public is heavy on Boston and that worries the hell out of me. Lester is not the pitcher away that he is at home (although he has been studly lately) and somehow someway Stammen has been half decent and dare I say, WAS has played decent ball as of late.
Will post numbers when locked. TB RL -1 is the play.

Won again yesterday. Already played MIL today. Thoguht of doubling up but Washburn has historically pitched very well in Seattle and that team isn't all that terrible.
So we will move on to Game B tomorrow. Good ol Yanks are definitely the biggest favorite, but I might be tempted to play CWS with Buehrle going up against Bruce Chen.
