3* Fognini -110 This will be Robert's 12th match in two weeks and although he's won 11 of them they were mainly over challenger journeymen ranked outside the top 100. He shocked everyone with his first round upset of a top ten player as it was only his second career grand slam win. He pulled a miraculous comeback against Berdych, getting completely outclassed for the majority of the match before the Czech number one imploded. Robert played his best tennis in the 5th set, backed by the home crowd, to pull off the giant upset but at the ripe age of 31 he'll be feeling every minute of those previous eleven matches versus a frustrating and antagonizing, defensive player in Fognini. They've met twice already with the Italian holding a 2-0 h2h advantage. I feel the low line is based on Robert's streaking form and his upset against a top class opponent while Fognini struggled to find a victory for the majority of April and May. The Italian came into the French with no momentum and looked completely out of form but ripped through his first round match quite easily thanks to the subpar play of his opponent. He's a sneaky player that doesn't look like a threat but he has great movement and shotmaking and more importantly a flair for the dramatic. The longer the match goes the better he plays and that bodes poorly for Robert's chances over the course of this match. The home crowd will attempt to back their surprising countryman but Fognini has a villain's mentality and will turn the hostile French crowd against him when he can, to feed off their energy as he did against the crowd favourite Monfils last year. Robert's a tactical veteran so look for him to start fast but wear down over the course of the match with Fognini winning in 4-5 sets.

Great hit on Fognini Neg Too bad one of your dogs didn't hit, especially Safarova. I had her on the +3, but thought for sure she would take the match up 4-2 in the 2nd Set.

After a nervous opening to his first round match Nadal settled in with the quick conditions and the new babolat balls, dismantling one of the best servers in the men's game over the last few sets. He only faced one break point for the entire match but his play in the tiebreakers was extremely lackluster and he'll need to step up his intensity there in future moments. Andujar's straight sets victory in his first round may seem impressive but the one glaring stat that stands out is the amount of break points he faced. Giraldo racked up 15 opportunities but could only convert 2 of them as he threw in too many errors versus the solid, clean play of his opponent. Nadal will certainly capitalize more often and generate similar chances as he doesn't commit too many mistakes. He'll be all over Andujar, who lacks a powerful serve like Isner, with his usual baseline power, consistency and spin and should be 30 deep or better in every service game of his fellow Spaniard. This resulting pressure will force the needed errors from Andujar who relies on clean play as he won't out rally the world number one from the baseline. Look for Nadal to come out hungry to make light work of his fellow Spaniard and finish it as quickly as possible to cut down on his court time after opening with a tough five setter.

Is there a reason for your Kubot choice, but I feel his match against Almagro was a bit of a fluke, he had 78 unforced errors, and won two tiebreakers... in addition as a qualifier he has played a 17+ sets in a week.. Also I would feel he would be speding more of his time on the doubles court than here...
I agree that Nadal will demolish Andujar but UNDER 26!!!, it just seems SO LOW, -10.5 just seems too much... I mean I cant trust that Nadal wont be broken once... its tough but I will look at it harder, might pull the trigger on the -10.5, but do not have the balls....
