Rafa -4.5 games (-125)...asking Rafa to win a set 62 here is more likely than Thiem doing it to Rafa...i dont think Thiems wins vs Fritz and Johnson mean anything, but his win vs Anderson in 3 sets has me believing that was more to do with Anderson having a bad day than anything else...does Thiem get up for matches with Rafa? Absolutely...does he think hes got a shot on these slow playing hard courts? Absolutely...am i buying Thiem stock? Absolutely not...hes traditionally been an underachiever on hard courts and i will back Rafa everytime at this spread vs practically anyone not named Roger or Novak

Nishi/Cilic Over 3.5 sets (-225)...5u wager for me...chalky yes, so be it...can't see either guy just rolling over and dying here even if they are down 2 sets...maybe the over 40.5 games is a better bankroll management wager here, however I wouldn't like to have it fall short one or two games in a 4 setter and be kicking myself by not taking the "easier" betting option.

Djoker -7.5 games (-150)...3u wager...let's just step back and look at this line and this match as a whole for a second...Millman did earn his win vs Fed, obviously he did exactly what he had to do to comeout on top of that match...he didn't shiit himself in the crucial moments in that match, so all the credit in the world goes out to him for grabbing that victory from the jaws of defeat...however let's not overreact here, Millman is now playing Djoker - a brutal matchup for him regardless of time and place and surface...yes I understand, he just beat Roger who also is a terrible matchup for him...but like I mentioned before, Millman and Fed practiced extensively together since Wimbledon, thus after a while, the Fed luster and mystique wears off and Millman very much became familiar with his shot speed, tactics, spins, etc...it's like he had inside info on how to play Roger...that being said, he has zero intel now coming into this match with Djoker...the courts will play very slow, and who other than Rafa right now is a better "defensive" player than Novak? No one! Djoker turns defense into offense as quick as possible...Millman will have very little weaponry to hurt Djoker, and even if Millman serves the match of his life, we are still talking about arguably the best returner in the history of the sport...I just cannot imagine any scenario where this match will be competitive, Novak must realize the timeframe for which he has to recover for the Semi's is limited as his match will end close to midnight tonight if they are pushed back...He will look to get off the court tonight in under 2hrs which should result in a very focused and intense Djoker effort from the first point...and obviously theres' the classic letdown factor for Millman here...reaching his first major QF...his tennis life has now been forever changed, and perhaps he's got nothing left in the tank come the 3rd set, where we could easily see a 62 score or better for Djoker...all signs in my capping this match point to Djoker -7.5 games.

don't be a victim to tunnel vision fellas...the 1st set is a shrimp cocktail or some other tasty appetizer...the meat and potatoes of a tennis match are the 2nd and 3rd sets...the final few bites of a good meal is the 4th set, and the desert along with a nicely chilled icewine is the 5th set...this match is far from over...was Rafa done after getting embarrassed by that bagel yesterday? the top players can move on and forget the past...is Kei a top player? sometimes he looks like one, but most times he is exposed as a fraud...long way to go....maybe Cilic gets tight and dumps this 2nd set being up a break...he's known to get nervous
