This ain't hardcourts. A lot of top guys are absolutely dreadful on grass. Namely Wawrinka, Raonic. And obviously Nadal looks like he's forgotten how to play on it as well.
Be careful. Understand the surface.

agree. some folks dont bother with grass and it shows. homework is very important for Wimbledon.
and the players you mention show why the lower half of the men's draw is wiiiiiiiiide open. If Fed plays well he has a walk to the finals.
LSU has been smart about the big chalk he picks. Has been very impressive

Alright guys got some time now. . So yes grass is really tricky. .. More so than any other surface, I feel, you really have to know your stuff, especially with the short season. ...The bottom line is the courts play very fast, the points are shorter, and the balls don't bounce as high...A good example of why this doesn't suit players like Wawrinka and Raonic:
Wawrinka...He has a long backswing which requires more time..time he doesn't have on these fast courts. Also, Grass does not let the ball sit up with the high hop he needs to uncoil his more protracted swings
Raonic..Like Isner, Raonic has had difficulties on grass. He has been eliminated in the second round all three times he has participated at Wimbledon. He needs time to set up for his defensive baseline game, and he is still a work in progress trying to finish at net. And he doesn't move well..not good on grass.
(Ironically enough both these players have decent grass records comparitively i believe)
There are some players at 1st glance that I feel, on grass, should do good this tournament:
