I found gt's picks today. He went 0-3 with 3 faves. His record is now 6-13 taking all faves. He must be getting absolutely crushed.
"We now sit at 6-10 after a forgettable 0-4 Day 3. The only bright side is that we can only improve on yesterday’s mark.
On to Day 4:
Jesse Levine -208 over Cueves
After
taking advantage of an unmotivated Safin in the first round (winning
in four sets), Jesse Levine has to be thrilled at his chances of taking
on Pablo Cueves in the second round. Cueves had a gruelling five-set
match against Rochus, winning the deciding set 11-9.
This
appears to be a clear mismatch. Levine is a big server and moved well
yesterday vs. Safin. Cueves, on the other hand, relies his sift feet to
win points on the return. He doesn’t a great serve, but was effective
at times against Rochus in the final sets.
I expect Levine to see his way through in no more then four sets.
Zverev -151 over Petzschner
Petzschner
came through vs. Ram, who is mostly a challenger level player these
days in singles. He will now face a step up in competition playing
against Zverev.
Zverev has a nice all-around game.
He owns a commanding serve and has great lateral movement. He came
through the first round by beating Tursunov, who retired in the third
set after being down the whole match.
Looking across the net, Petzschner has a decent serve but he isn't the most mobile of individuals. Zverev will get some points anytime he gets Petschzner into long rallies and makes him cover the whole court.
I like Zverev to come through in easy fashion.
Becker -139 over Melzer
Becker
is in the best form of his life. He has played great the last few weeks
since grass play began. Melzer has had a nice run going 7-3 in last 10,
but Becker is 9-1 and with a world of confidence.
I could write
pages and pages about why I like Becker. He’s done more than just about
anyone else on grass in the last three weeks. Melzer is a good player
capable of upsetting him on most days, but not on the greener surface.
Becker is my play of the day and I’ll be putting a maximum bet on him."
