LSU +1.5

Sorry, didn't see your post last night. I loved the play but in hindsight I'll go ahead and upgrade it to the play of the century lol.
I've followed her pretty close since Madrid when she got her first tour level win in over a year beating Burel and then lost that epic match in the 3rd set tiebreak against Collins. Then she had a good run at the French but other than that she's been mostly at ITF level and has never been much of a player outside of the dirt.
She had a good chance to get a win or two at Wimbledon which would've put her back into the top 100 and given her main draw entries into the slams but instead she lost a very winnable first round match as a LL and dropped down to 150 in July.
Now she's won back to back tournaments on hard and jumped all the way into the 50s so she'll not only be in slam main draws but also a bunch of other big tournaments as well. So she should be a fixture on the main tour in 25.

Really impressive week from Kenin as well. There was little chance that Zheng would leave that tourney without the title. She really needed those points to relieve some of the pressure of defending her finalist points in Australia, which is probably the reason she was there playing while the other top players were all resting up for the finals.
But for Kenin to push it to a TB in the first and keep the match close was an impressive feat along with her previous wins through the tournament, especially given her performances the rest of the year. Ranked in the 150s coming into the week she was at risk of fading into tennis oblivion but making the final here boosted her 66 spots up to 89. Before this week it would've been tough to make a case for her to get one of the American wildcards into the AO but her performance here likely earned her an outright main draw entry instead.
