Time to get back to work. Here is too a successful week crew.

Mai Hontama +3.5 -115 for Game
Both of them look like they don't even want to be there. Hontama probably has like 1 fan in the crowd that probably passed out after the first set

I go on good streaks and bad streak. When I lose 3 in a row then I know something is not working so I just take a break and try something different

* Not even a break point opportunity. 0-2 out of the gates down a dime. No more day tennis today.

This has been my issue for the latter part of the Asian swing. Too tired. It's no secret that I perform better with my tennis bets when I watch matches and have a feel for a player's current form. From the start of clay season through the US Open I watched at least an average of 2-4 matches every single day and sometimes many more than that.
I skipped a ton of sleep and did well at the start of the Asian swing but when the Oct 15 tax deadline started approaching I had to cut back on watching. And now it's been 3 or 4 days since I've watched anything other than the one set Badosa match. Didn't even look at anything yesterday but looked at the scores today and see that I missed a good Jackie match. Also crazy to see that Sonmez upset Frech.

Sofia Kenin vs Xinyu Wang
There is some good value going with Sofia currently at +195. She has a 3-0 h2h which makes us take a double take, but her form is so poor that it makes you question is it worth the risk.

Tennis thoughts today:
Tokyo
- I really like Kessler's chances as a short favorite against Cocci. The Italian hasn't beaten a quality opponent since before Wimbledon.
- It is possible that Kenin could be a live dog. She does own the h2h although mostly on grass which tends to be a weak surface for Chinese players. And Wang could be poised for a letdown after her SF run in Wuhan.
- Tauson looks like a potentially strong play on the game spread. She just double breadsticked Hibino a couple weeks ago. Tauson did lose in qualifying to a bad player but she was the top seed and practically everybody was already guaranteed a LL entry so I don't give that much weight.
- I'm surprised to see Boulter as such a huge favorite over Priscilla Hon. -600 seems grossly excessive to me. Hon +games might be worth a look.
China
- I expect Siniakova to perform very well at this tournament which is not too much of a shocker given that she's the top seed and currently the odds-on favorite. She has historically performed well in Asia and her ranking has dropped a bit after spending most of the year in the 30s so she will be looking to earn points here. She's a large favorite tonight though and I don't trust her enough to lay that many games but just a player to watch in future rounds.
- Even though Zhang Shuai has lost her last 3, two of those losses were against high quality opponents (& Gadecki) and I still have faith in the GOAT. The Rak tends to play a lot of 3 set matches and her 2 set matches are mostly when she's either a heavy favorite or heavy dog. The over is tempting here.
"When I'm back to the locker room, everybody jumping, 'C'mon, Shuai, I'm so happy for you!'. They hug me. Even they go to shower, [wearing] nothing, they coming to me. I feel so warm." - Zhang Shuai
In other news, Tennessee beat Bama 24-17 in case anyone missed it. GBO

Obviously, it was.
That is, it for Tokyo tonight. Let's see if we can find something in Guangzhou.
