If you cared about CG at all you you would just give him the money to rebuild his life.  You are just egging him on by giving him false hope and you are stunting his growth.  If he's any good he'll learn and get better by himself

The fact that you are 59 says 1 of 2 things

1) you are just a really dumb person who believed CG was a gambling savant

2) you thought of him like a son and wanted to live your dreams through him


Either way part of this is on you for egging him on into this crash.  What you did is the equivalent of putting a shot in front of an alcoholic and shouting drink

I find CG offensive in every way possible and unlike Vanzack I have no illusions about whether he's "learned his lesson this time" or whether he's "truly humbled this time". He's hasn't and he's not. If this is a trip you were taking by yourself, then by all means go for it. But if this was a trip that you were taking with your family, it's absolutely disgusting you'd put this at risk.

And like melossinglet asked above, are you bankrolling him? Are you loaning him the money? Is it simply your money at risk and CG has no ties to it whatsoever?

This is the first time I have had to question the validity of a bet, but something doesn't add up here.

Hmm so you posted an "official play" for 26k with your local. (official meaning the bet was in) and your local happily cancelled the bet for you. 

Not to mention, CG just posted THIS....

Just to summarize...

- Goose posts an "official" 26k bet on the Bengals, putting his vacation at risk because he "believes in Nick."

- Goose somehow cancels the 26k bet with his local. 

- CG posts a $4400 play (which is his remaining living expenses as stated yesterday) on the TEXANS. 

The organization might wanna get their story straight.

Man...just when I thought I'd seen the KO of the weekend with that UFC card!


The Rousey knockdown was the equivalent of CG's season, and the Holms kick was the AZ win. 



What a time do be one of the faithful pubic lice in the organization.  Had to know that the "PHANTOM LEVEL IS OVER 1000".  And then to cling to that "lead"...all the while forgetting that AZ's first 5 points should have been 14.  But that's cool--we know the final.
