Was wondering where Lippsman was, I dont really post in NHL but always read. It was also a quick way for me to see starting goalies etc as he would post. Sorry to hear the bad news condolences.

don't know one end of a hockey stick from another but came in here during playoffs to get some leans and always checked Lipp's well written posts.
The good ones invariably go early, i'm sure 99% of people on here never met him but we'll remember him for his contributions here for a long time.
Hope you're having a good time on the rink in the sky mate.

Wow. Just shocked. Life is so short. Lipps was stand up man who loved hockey. The effort he put into the old daily threads was incredible. Condolences to his family.

.....didn't get to finish, haven't been on here for a long while but heard the news so I had to pop in
Lipps was a Bruins fan and he loved his boys but to me he will always be remembered for The Lippsman Split
He was one hell of a good guy as well as one of the boys

I keep reading legendary post after post by many good people from many years back who aren't posting so much because this place gets so ugly.
I am sure we will keep the Lippsman split every playoff season, I can remember in 2003 the Ducks beat Detroit as huge +200 road dogs for example..so much value..plus his work on his daily records thread..and he answered anyone's thoughts..he gave me something to think about when a bad call occurred for the Knights vs SJ in 2019
But to help remember him further, Weebs please see if there's a favorite charity of his particularly if it helps hockey youth or something..we can contribute in his name
Thank you!

Not that he or his family would need it,
But after all he gave to this forum, it almost seems like someone should start a GoFundMe towards his family, (if Weebs or someone close here knew any of his fam)..
Just to show how much he was appreciated and all the time and effort he gave to the game of hockey, and the vegas end of it,, starting goals, stats, trends, just the game in general.
So his family knows what an important piece he was to this forum and the thousands of people who greatly appreciated him.
If everyone just donated minimum of $5-10 each. Idk maybe just a thought but sometimes you feel like you should give back. After all, this is a betting forum.
