The more I watch the Thunder the more I notice they're not reliant on Westbrook's shot so much as his distribution and defense. He's tops in the NBA in both steals and assists by a LARGE 10% margin. I know he and Giannis are the worst 3-pt shooters in the league by every metric, but it's not most of their game like it is with someone like Klay or Curry, who are much higher volume deep shooters. Steven Adams and Jerami Grant have top-10 and top-25 FG% and efficiency. Terrance Ferguson has been blowing up last few games from 3. And if Dennis Schroder can stay consistent, the Thunder should be good once Westbrook gets his 3 for the playoffs.
