Marc L free play on 32-12-1, 23-10-1 and 0-3 run...I have seen a lot of plays on Iowa as Illinois should already be in the dance. It sounds to easy to take Illinois plus points but I am going to try Marc at least one more time.

Note: LTKO revenge rears its ugly head again in this one as the Illini will look for payback from an opening round 64-61 defeat at the hands of the Hawkeyes in the 2012 Big Ten tourney, a loss that ended an Illinois 5-game win-and-cover streak over Iowa. John Groce’s team also had a 5-game streak snapped last week by Michigan. 

Hey, no shame in dropping a contest to a Wolverines squad with two guys named Tim Hardaway and Glenn Robinson and their 25 years of combined NBA experience. Anyway, that 5-game Illini win streak, which began with back-to-back upsets of Indiana and Minnesota and ended with three straight trouncings of Big Ten bottom-feeders, put Illinois up on the 20-win pedestal, an accomplishment that nearly guarantees they’ll be dancing in March. Now they need to seal the deal with a big road win in Iowa City against a Hawkeye squad in the middle of an Indiana/Nebraska same-season revenge sandwich and a 3-8 SU record versus teams with a win percentage greater than .666 this season. We have no problem fading this wobbly home favorite tonight. Neither should you.

Boston Bruins have not lost 3 in a row this year. 2 game chase on Bruins, tonight vs. Wash then next game home vs Toronto on Mar 7.

They lost Sunday vs Montreal.

This is not a system play.

Think Mike Anderson, the Arkansas coach is looking forward to this game?  Ouch!  Not only did he leave Mizzou on bad terms last year on the midnight express so to speak, his Razorbacks beat Mizzou in a thriller a few weeks ago, with some very crappy calls going his way at home in that one to secure a win.  Missouri undefeated on their home floor (16-0) and they have had this one circled and this is senior night and this group wants badly to beat their old coach, on one of the strongest home floors in the nation and keep up the RPI for a higher seed in the Big Dance. This is a crucial game for Mizzou on numerous levels, and the way Arkansas plays little defense on the road and has MAJOR issues scoring on the road, and Mizzou's scoring at home, this game is going to get ugly in my opinion.  Mizzou has not only beat good teams in here, but beaten some of them badly.  Mizzou leads in all stat categories that count - Points scored - Points allowed - Free throws - Steals - FG% and rebounding.  Did I mention Arkansas is 1-8 on the road in the SEC?  I do not like laying big numbers this time of the year normally over 7, but for a free play I think Mizzou wins this by double digits.  The Zou will be rockin tonight, have no illusions.

If memory serves me right, Wash Caps knocked the favored Bruins out of the Stanley Cup playoffs last year, I believe in 7 games. REVENGE!

Oklahoma City is seeking revenge against the Lakers who beat them the last time these two met in Los Angeles, 105-96.

Don't think the Thunder, who have owned the Lakers of late, have forgotten that loss.

But that was on the road and this one is at home where I expect another full house for a beatdown of Kobe and the boys.

Remember, the Thunder have one of the best home court differentials in the NBA. These are the scores of their last 10 home games:

106-84, 117-97, 106-89, 112-91, 119-98, 127-96, 100-110 (loss), 127 - 111, 102 - 72, and 119-74.

Do you see a single-digit win in there?

The only blemish was a 10-point loss to the Heat, who still seem to have their number for some reason. I'll still take my chances with a team that dominates opponents at home more than any other team in the NBA, including Miami.

The Lakers survived a scare at home vs. Atlanta Sunday night, 99-98, and have been playing better at home of late... but still have dropped three of four on the road and clearly don't look like themselves yet.

But then again, who are the Lakers with Nash and Howard and no Gasol?

OKC has something to prove, and in front of a full house, I see the Thunder running up the score deep into the 4th quarter.

NHL Boston ML is a 2 game PERSONAL chase that I am doing. Not a NHL system play.

Beware, I am a Bruins fan since 1970.

On Marc L tweet play on Marquette, I have them at -6. I base my record on the line I post and not the closing line, much easier for me to keep track that way. Whatever line I bet is the line that counts to me, I'm not trying to nit-pick a win or loss like some touts do by mentioning that the line changed and therefore they won instead of lost.

OKC home 1Q 20-9 ATS. LAL road 1Q  9-15 ATS.

Will try a 1Q play on OKC -2.5 even though I think the Lakers will come out on fire to start.

I also like that matchup...expecting Carey Price to have a bounce back game after his last start against Pitts where he allows 7 goals on 36 shots....This falls under a revenge scenario  where Montreal lost at home to Islanders in OT......Visnosky is also out for the Islanders..

Golf play for the week. I do NOT recommend playing this guy to win, but as a longshot that is UP TO YOU.

Last week I played the MATCHUP play on the free play with Kirk over Stadler and it won.

I recommend a matchup play if available on this golfer but there may not be one.

FRANCESCO MOLINARI 135 TO 1 - I am sure many people will question this selection when they see it but Molinari is a must selected at Doral. This week will be Molinari’s 4th start at The Blue Monster and he has yet to finish outside the Top 14. Molinari’s best finish here came in 2011 when he finished T3. Francesco’s reasons for playing so well at this course have to be his accuracy and putting. In 2012 Francesco ranked 1st in Driving Accuracy, Strokes Gained through Putting, and Scrambling from the Rough on the PGA Tour. This season has not started the way Molinari would have liked, but returning to a place he loves will help. This week watch for Molinari’s ability to get up and down if a green is missed, but also the way that he avoids trouble. Bogeys are lurking around every corner at Doral and of course there is also the ability to make the dreaded “Other” this week (ie. Sergio Garcia’s 12 last year in his 4th round on number 3). Enjoy watching Francesco make plenty of putts this week, vaulting himself in contention yet again at this great tournament.

We submit to you that the WRONG team is favored in tonight's game from the MAC Conference. Despite the fact that the Eagles are on the road, they should be a -2 to -3 point FAVORITE... according to our current College Hoops power rankings. We have NO problem grabbing a basket or two against the clear-cut 2nd WORST team in the Conference. Central Michigan is asked to win tonight's game (as a fav) when they IN FACT have gone 2-12 SU in conference play since January... and 2-9 ATS in their last 11. Give the road EAGLES credit for at least going 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 conference games... including a perfect 4-0 ATS vs any opponent off a SU win.

16-7-1 ATS so far THIS season: All Conference underdogs of < 10 pts playing off BB SUATS wins, with the last as a conference Underdog (EASTERN MICHIGAN) versus any opponent off a SU win (Central Michigan). These teams have gone 11-2-1 ATS on the ROAD... and a PERFECT 5-0 ATS when playing 'into' Revenge (EAGLES beat the Chippies 58-52 back on Jan. 15th)

In fact, BOTH of these teams are playing of Conference UNDERDOG wins in their last game. In that case, the ROAD DOG is the the play

5-0 ATS this season: All Conference road dogs off a SU conf DOG win (EAGLES) vs any opponent also off a SU conf DOG win (Chippewas).
