The Kings may be worth a look. I have seen the number moving between 4 to 3 with almost 70% coming in on Knicks.

you seem to be one to wait for the perfect number when you take a game. just wondering why your not waiting to get +4  with the jazz a little later? they havent even said if mo williams is playing yet for the jazz, or is mo just not a concern for you when picking this game?

I'm on Atlanta -5.5 tonight and also on the ML.
They have a good ROI, in the odds range of 1.5-2 and when facing a spread in the range of 2-8.

Seems to be a good play.

Utah is a brave call. A bit too brave for me, I won't get involved in this close game, can't see the Clippers lose easy here and it really might come down to a couple possesions with the extra points coming in handy, but Clippers are favorite no doubt.
But I can see where it is coming from, Utah is a very strong team at home and they have a good ROI as an underdog.

Mavin I guess I am still confused, like i said i am new at sportsbetting but not sports in general by any means.  You said before the line should be more like cliippers -5 yet it is clippers-2 or 3....so why wouldnt we jump on clippers here??...I dont see your reasoning to bet on Jazz yet???....though i am still gonna just take your advice and bet Jazz plus 3 and atlanta -5.5....i have a weird feeling Portland beats LA straight up tonight...They have been playing a lot better lately especially since J.J HIckson has been playing more....Would have felt a lot better on that if Howard wasn't playing

I've been hunting the clippers loose since the Denver game and I see a really good chance of the Jazz winning today or covering the spread.

You cant post web-sites on covers,so even if he wanted to tell you he cant post it.

Aren't you/you guys concerned that the Atlanta/Cleveland line opened so small? You would figure Atlanta would be huge favorites from the get go.

Btw what you think on the Charlotte v Nets line? Don't you guys think is too high? I mean Charlotte's gotta win some day, and i think they will vs the hornets next saturday but the Nets without coach i don't expect a big win over the bobcats

Bad info on my part guys. I was only watching line movement. With Melo out this makes sense.

The public is right sometimes. Why is that never brought up on threads like this and we tend to always analyze why a bettor should go the opposite direction? Roll with the Clips -3 or don't play this game at all IMO. The Clips arent like "most" teams in the NBA because they are hot as hell right now, they are playing incredible defense, and most importantly they are 8-9 deep so in the event someone has foul trouble, goes cold, or is tired, they can make a change and still have top talent on the floor. For example, Barnes and Crawford lead the team in scoring last night off the bench for crying out loud!! Matt freaking Barnes! I've liked your analysis so far to date, butt his one doesnt make sense to me. Utah is a solid team on home court, and has some talent. Can they cover? SURE! Any team can on any given night. But why in the world I would bet against a team on a massive wins streak like this is nuts IMO. Respect for your game maven. Excellent analysis, but I am not backing you here!

I appreciate your input on this and understand your point. But also know that in this case - which is not a 5 unit play but a single 1 unit play - I am willing to pinpoint the stop of the Clippers run. I'm not going to be right all the time. Just hope to be right most of the time. One way or another - one of us will be right at the end of the evening
