But yeah the more I gathered in my notes from last week the more I realized I had some dumbluck that I thought was an accumulation of hard work.....but back to basics, less games, and slow steady increase....while splashing a few big underdog straight up bets (in spots where they looked right)....really helped increase my bankroll....not this parlay dumbluck bet 20 games bullshit....

Anyways thank you Mavin for everything you have taught me....I was already making money but there is no doubt I made even more because of you....

hey mavin!  something i like to know! im always watching game and tought they were LIVE but how come u watch the game and the site bet365 can mark the point like 5-10 second before they score. So it s not really LIVE.  thks  also shoud have told u guy that brooklyn was 13-0 against teams under .500  now 14-0 SU

like the Warriors after a hard loss to Memphis at home and the Blazers in b2b games, expecting a let down after beating Miami yesterday.
Nuggets have a great home record vs a depleted Cavalies team with Irving ill and maybe not playing.

Hornets are a duferent team since Gordon return, playing against the Twolves without Love, Barea and Rubio not playing well.

And i think the Griizlies will keep down the pace against the Spurs, i like how both teams match against each other, so I expect the under in this game.

Grats. Take into consideration when posting a record that the usual unit losses are -1.1 unit. So, you're actually playing either 1.1 units to win 1 unit or straight bets a unit to win 0.9 units.

Mavin - how do you analyze 2H bets? How would you spot RLM for halftime wagers, since as far as I know, there's no website reporting REAL-TIME information on 2H bets. 

If you're not basing halftime bets on RLM, what are you basing it on? And I've sifted through pages 1 through 30 of this thread as I really couldn't find anything discussing your halftime wagering strategies.

Plus thursday underdogs under then maybe friday homecourts? Almost all homecourts covered today except the ones RLM went against.

Early look and the Mavs look like there is a lot of potential. Going to watch this, but may be an early play for me.  

That Sixers line seems short even with Rockets loss last night and Sixers off. Sixers have been awful. They may actually be a play here. Early this morning I will start watching Sixers/Mavs carefully today. 

Also, a NCAA hunch. I was surprised to see the Duke number moved to 4 in some places. I am a sucker for a college home dog. Duke tends to invite public money. I could possibly see this as a game where the number climbs before game time, yet NC State remains the play. I am playing State regardless of the move today, but something to note and then check back once the game plays out. Basically, don't be surprised to see 4.5 right before tip to draw late Duke money or dumb ML plays on Duke. It is my believe road ml plays in college are about as bad a bet as there is.

Hey everybody, I rarely post on covers. When I do often my plays are unsuccessful and I feel like an @$$hole. I do, however, love this thread. I'm really shocked a thread this long can be so consistently constructive. I've used this site for years and I really think you are all on to something. wow got my butt handed to me yesterday. 1-3

won on chicago

lost on phoenix, charlotte and the under for bulls/knicks

brings my record to 4-3-1 in this thread.

looking at the orlando/clippers game

leaning on orlando and the under, line has already gone down from 13 to 12.5 total has gone down 1point from 199.5 to 198.5.Orlando is 11-4 on the road ATS and 5-1 on road against over .500 teams, last time they were on a west coast trip they went 4-1 ATS!

Good stuff. My initial lean was Orlando as well. Clippers have been clubbing seals this year (covering fat spreads), but I don't know how sustainable that is. Jacque Vaughn has the Magic scrapping hard on the road.

Take this with a grain of salt, but Orlando is 1-4 ATS on 2 days rest, while the Clip is 6-0 ATS on 2 days rest. Both haven't played since the 9th. Trend says hammer the Clip.
