Just to follow up my earlier post NC State line is moving down, not up.  I just played NC State @ 3.5 with my local and saw Bookmaker has it at 3.

My research for today has yielded the following suggested plays:

Philadelphia 76ers +1                                 1.05U > 1U
Los Angeles Clippers -12.5                         1.1U > 1U
Philadelphia/Houston under 202                  1.1U > 1U

NC State Wolfpack +3                               1.02U > 1U
Arkansas LR Trojans -4.5                           1.1U > 1U
Seattle Redhawks 1H +3                            .55U > .5U
Seattle Redhawks +5.5                              .55U > .5U
Illinois Fighting Illini +6                               1.1U > 1U
Colorado Buffaloes -3.5                              1.1U > 1U

From top to bottom, I will provide a quick synopsis. In my experience, as soon as you think you've figured the NBA out, it will rear its ugly head and bite you. Philadelphia has been awful lately, in part due to an extremely grueling road trip. Doug Collins is one of my favorite NBA coaches and I think the poor performance and exhaustion stops today. Philly gets back to defending and scoring in transition against a shoddy Houston defense. Houston is 4-6 ATS on 0 days rest, while Philadelphia is 4-3 on (much needed) 2 days rest. Not mind-blowing trends, but favorable nonetheless. The Clippers are 6-0 ATS on 2 days rest, while Orlando is 1-4 ATS on 2 days rest. 'greengiants' keenly pointed out that Orlando is indeed a road warrior and the poor 2 days rest performance was rooted in their homestands. However I still think that the trend points out they need rhythm, and on their 3rd road game on long rest I don't think they'll have it. Just my thought process.

If your capping is anything like your writing I'm guessing you go way overboard and over think things, resulting in complete and utter disaster every single time. How about cutting a little off the top there, Tolstoy?

1. NBA totals are ruining my otherwise a very neat record (I'm saying that because soon NFL will be over and I want to relate to NBA and Parlays). Without the Totals - the record on NBA could be 22-10. (Overall NBA record has to be corrected up there to 31-23-1.)
Does that mean that I should stay away from the totals altogether? Not necessarily  - but I should either be more assertive choosing the games or narrowing the borders of criteria which tells me what games qualify for making it a play on Totals in NBA

If so, I can surmise my college picks as follows (for your sake, my friend)

NC State getting points at home with Duke's first conference roadie is a sharp play. Little Rock is a great home bet. Denver is a great road fade especially vs. a Seattle team that can score. Wisconsin shouldn't be laying 6 to a good conference rival. UCLA hasn't impressed me, especially on the road.

Always remember: attach days of the week label to all your observations. That is the only stat you never being supplied by almost no one (covers does). Another thing is investing on a research about the officials (that is right here on covers as well).

pistons/jazz, verifying what i thought was reverse line movement in this game, turns out public is betting detroit so reverse line movement is nul and void in this case.

Just created an account in order to congratulate Mavin and everyone involved in this thread for the collective effort that's been helping many players improve their game, myself included.

Since I started following Mavin's methods this week, I've been winning on a much more consistent and convincing way than before. So far my NBA records stands at 5-1 in 3 days, having accrued a $400 profit.

Last night I took the MIN vs NOLA Over, CHI + 4 and LA vs OKC Over 109 1H. Granted, the last one was a bit of a fluke, considering the score stood at 108 with 2 secs remaining in the second quarter, but then again, I had just lost a 4 team parlay in NCAAB when Loyola covered the spread with a buzzer beater against Fairfield, so I like to see that as poetic justice. :P

As for tonight, still a bit early to make any final calls, but I'm leaning towards the under in the Detroit/Utah game (192.5) and both Chigaco and Dallas games (188).

Interesting line movement on Dallas this morning.  Dropped from +3 to +1.5 despite the public leaning on Memphis.  Too early to lock in, but I like the Mavs at home after a night off against the Grizz coming off a tough OT win last night.

Wouldn't rlm suggest taking Memphis then? If the line is moving in there favor even though they are the public play?

The game I'm putting up for a debate: Indiana - Charlotte. 
Few pointers here. First of all on Totals. Indiana is playing great defense and the teams average against then 89.1 PPG only. Indiana is not that great at scoring -  90.9 PPG. The Kitties are 95.7 - 103.9 PPG. LVSC released the line at 185.5. The books doctored it 185.5. Public jumped all over it pounding a "logical" Under for any game with Indiana involved who is 2-8 O/U in last 10 and played Under 6 times in a row. So, why did the line jump up to 186.5 ??? In my opinion the line of this game has to be monitored once an hour to see how it behaves combined with a spread (which grew from -11.5 to 12) and if the line goes up on spread - I will play Over.
p.s. by the time I was writing all this the lines climbed half more point. 187 and -12.5

This is the first pick for the day..

Over Clippers 1h 99.5

Like the over because the 2 teams coming with 2 days off and have a better over record when they are rested.
Orlando have 9 consecutive games hitting the over.
The 2 teams will run today at least the first half, don´t know if you guys notice but the Clippers start playing defense in the second half of the games, so i believe this game will be an easy over in the first half.

The Clippers average at home in the first half is 53.9-47 an in the second half 50.7-44.8.

I´m putting 1.1 unit to win 1u.

going with the trends on Orlando in this one

-11-4-1 on road ATS

-10-5 ATS against non-conference teams

-5-1 ATS on road against over .500 teams

-8-4 ATS after scoring more than 100

-8-1-1 ATS vs. clippers

the magic seem to like west coast trips, last west coast trip they went 3-2 straight up and 4-1 ATS

the first half line on my book is 94, wouldn't that suggest over as the total is 187?

You said lvsc released at 185.5 and books doctored to 185.5? Is this a typo?
Anyway yea the line seems to be moving up while the 'logical' and public play seems to be the under.
We already know how bad charlotte defense is, so that helps and indiana might ease up their defensive pressure after a few solid performances and wins. 
Also they might be looking forward to their game tomorrow at brooklyn which tips off less then 24hours after this game tips off.
I wanna take the over but I still need more 
I can see the pacers hitting 100 in this game but not much more.
Charlotte should be more offensive minded after putting up less then 80 aganst the raptors in their last game, but can we ever see them hitting 90-95 in this game in any type of scenario?
Also i would lean charlotte esp if i see the line moves back in their favor but not too sure
