Yes, by bringing the line down despite the massive public support, the books were inviting even more bets to be placed in Knicks' favor, which according to Mavin's Reverse Line Movements theory meant something was afoot and, just maybe, betting on the Fruitflies to cover the spread was the right way to go (as it happened to Philly yesterday).

I, on the other hand, thought that such an upset, on the first game of the card, and knowing that the books didn't know I knew what they were cooking, I went and did exactly what they told me I should do and backed the favorite.

Makes sense, no?

i decided to go with the money line because I already have the -7 on a another open parlay choose the moneyline at -425 sf -3 okc -2.5 with 2 open spots $50

Melo have you noticed how this year in the NFL teams play tight like if they need exlax and then all of the sudden in the second half quarterbacks become superman?

Why not play lose the whole game and enjoy it- shows you which can't handle the pressure I guess.

I don't only take the trend from here but also the teams that gained or suffered from that trend.
This is to prove that the games are premedicated and we better treat them as such

It worked out for you, so I certainly can't argue.  Nice read on the line.

On Saturdays pays off to bet all the Underdog teams. One way or another you will gain

The case of Miami yesterday and Knicks game today is the classic way of the books initiated RLM without any money backing it. They saved some money if not much. That usually happens after the books are a way ahead (yesterday) and only trying to limit their damages. Don't expect anymore presents today thou

The low scored is due to the Pacers college basketball offense of late, but they still are scoring over 90pts per game on average and, as if that wasn't enough, their usually solid defense showed signs of being tired in the closing moments of yesterdays game, so I expect them to allow Brooklyn to run up the court more often. The Nets themselves are quite inconsistent against winning sides as well. I predict a close game with both teams scoring more than 90 pts.

Other leans: Pacers +4 /  2H +90.5

dexter would IOwa be a play now? line was at -1.5 NW, now -1 Iowa. Is iowa the pick now or NW? Same example as Knicks game?

If you don't swallow your pride and bet what you're supposed to, you can throw this thread out the window.  Can't bet below $50?  Can't or won't?  Money management rules all.  Divide your roll by 100 and play as many games as you want (no limit).  If you can't break 50%, you need to find another hobby.

I appreciate what you're saying - but you're wrong. My Bankroll is divided by 20 per unit. That is the way I play. And my pride does not depend if I win any given day. My pride is how I see myself as a decent and hard working person. My picks might go wrong from time to time. But I did not have a losing month for pretty long time and not going to have one now either. You don't have to follow my plays - but use the trends and data I'm gathering for you for your own handicapping. This is what this thread is about buddy. If you still don't understand it by now - then reread the thread and understand. GL

I do not want to derail Mavin's thread nor feel responsible for any bad beats here. College hoops is a whole different universe from NBA and I only ever play small bets parlays in it, so I cannot really answer your question.

IF this was NBA I would say yes, go for it. But it's college basketball and there is very little method in that.
