I'd rather enjoy that game watching it than being nervous about any of the side covering or winning ML. May be the HT. But we will see if some m=new info kicks in!
Yes that is what I am waiting for. But at the moment I am almost sure that I will make it a pick.

it looks like I'm the only one who thinks Atlanta could do something... Maybe +points?
Oh, by the way - my Saturday and Sunday bets...

I'm not sure posting the URLs is withing Cover's policy. Be careful with that. Although it does not seem you're promoting something - but if in the future you will - that can be unpleasant. And with all the grats etc - I think what people here would like to see are the picks for games to be played rather than the picks you already have made and won or lost.

I think that the Rockets will have it their way after being tormented by the Thunder and the Spurs. The Hawks are doing great - but this game is similar for me as the game the Rockets played against the Grizzlies.

Final:
HOUSTON Rockets -4.5 (-110) 110$

Hi Mavin, congrats for this forum, really nice. I like to share my picks with you First i like the under in Chicago, Hinrich doesn't play, he is pure ofense, deng is hurt, is an early game, normally is difucult for the players because the used to play at night, thes past 3 or 4 games between this teams were under. Then i like Houston and over And leaning on Thinder over firts half.

SportsMavin, tough luck on the Jazz last night. That one sure could've gone either way, especially had DeAndre Jordan not hit 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch when Utah employed the "hack-a-DeAndre" strategy. Utah tried their best to restore some pride and cover that one, and in hindsight probably were a favorite to do so. Caron Butler's insane five first quarter threes didn't help either. I'm sure you'll get it back in no time, though.
As far as the Indiana under -- I am on it as well. (Got it at 179 last night.) I like this play a lot, but it seems like you and I came to the conclusion in totally different ways, and I find that interesting.
Sounds like you reached the conclusion because normally in this situation, the line would be like 186.5, and yet it is 8 or 9 points lower, which means that the books expect it to be a low scoring game. If that's the case, I am curious as to where you got the 186.5 number as a number that we should be likely to see in this situation.
The way I got to the conclusion is that these are the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the league in scoring defense. And neither team seems to ever come close to scoring 200 in a game, usually averaging around 190 (very rough estimate, don't have the numbers in front of me). And they do that against average defenses. Well, now they are both playing top notch scoring defenses, so that tells us that the line should be way under 190. I personally capped it at 162, something like 82-80 Indiana (I am also on Indiana).
Anyhow, I'm glad we're on the same side today. Good luck, sir.

Oh by the way, I also meant to mention that Indiana is 3rd worst in scoring in the league and Memphis is 10th worst. Should be a pretty ugly game offensively. There is a definite chance of overtime, as it could be a pretty close game, so that is the main worry for me, although we very well may still take this one even if it does go to OT. GL.

Guaji i would have to agree with a lot of your picks...Mavin i agree with Chicago going over rather then under. Though Chicago plays half-court and tries to set that as a pace sometimes I don't think it is gonna be possible with Charlotte who love to run regardless of the team they are playing against. When you watch Chicago, if a team starts to run on them a good percentage of the time they will run with that team and go against there usual low scoring, set the pace offense. However when the team falls into Chicago's trap of slowing the game down thats when they create drag it out, low scoring basketball but i dont think the Bobcats will allow the game to go that way. Hey i could be wrong though sometimes Indiana and Chicago love to slow the game down and sometimes they run with teams. I think in the Indiana game with the Grizzlies a lot of times similar to the Bulls at times they play that slow paced game and get the other team to fall under the same drag out game. I feel like that's what the books are seeing and the total is deff off which means low scoring game for sure. I love the Rockets to also cover in that spot as well.....i should say like actually because the Hawks could deff show up in this spot and play with them but i think Houston will play too fast paced for them to keep up. If you notice Houston has a problem wiht Sa and OKC because they play the same style as the Rockets and have better players to win high scoring games. Almost beating them at their own game. Yet in other situations where the Rockets play decent teams that don't like to run as much they can beat them handidly. I think Rockets win and cover but not by much against a tough Hawks squad. If the Magic had Glen Davis the spread would be more like 7 and i would like to take the Magic to cover straight up because i like the odds enough for the percentage of times they show up in that spot to win at home. However without Davis they have been struggling and I have bet against them in a few spots and won. The one thing we know about the Heat though is they pick and choose when to defend and show up for games. They have losses that blow your mind sometimes and then they have wins where it looks like the same old Heat (besides the D). I think its possible Heat could cover, I think its possible Magic could cover and I even think its possible Magic could win straight up. I'm still thinking on that game. I like SA covering against the Nets but 9 points is too much against a rejuvenated Nets team with new coaching to bet on for my taste. I also do think its a good possibility that the Rockets can go over in the game against the Hawks but I have to research that a little harder. Right now I'm rolling with a lot of picks already mentioned on here and I have to roll with the master Mavin. Lastly I think OKC can cover in the spot they are in but its hard to take a 12 point cover, but despite any records I love OKC AND SPURS when they play at home especially. Who doesnt???....Mavin I'm rolling with you on your picks and were gonna take it down.

Also Mavin we are looking decent on the under bet for grizzlies and pacers...hopefully close game doesnt hit ot...right now close enough where it wont slow down fouls to hit freethrows....they are playing the game we expected, as they both have the slowpaced styles connecting half court offenses and good defenses.
