Hawks playing better since the trade deadline, the Hawks are a better team in every position,
Suns 0-5 ATS last 5 at home
Hawks 5-0 ATS last 5 on the road.
Over 1q 50 CLE Cavaliers - LA Clippers
Just because the Clippers relax their defense against vad teams in the first half, but not the offense.
Over 1h 99.5 BOS Celtics - GS Warriors
Warriors play over 6-0 against good home teams.
GS games average 104 points on the road at the half.
Celtics without Rondo are running a little bit more with their guards, and I think GS forwards will outrun Celtics forwards.
Thank you for playing by the rules! Although I believe Mavin needs the plays grouped together with your handle and up to date record bold and underlined. Its the least we can do for our friend to make more time for his own capping.

My record this week is a perfect example of what happens when there is not enough time spent on capping games and too many distractions.
Went from 8-2 I believe to 9-8 in a hurry. Lol it's ok I have my health and its a new day!!
Gonna make this quick as I'm on my lunch break...
Memphis at Miami - the home teams are 15-5 ATS in last 20 head to head including the Heat going 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Miami. Heat are 8-4 ATS during their 12 game winning streak. Revenge spot as well as Grizzlies won 104-86 in Memphis way back in November. And as I have stated previously Miami is playing their best game right now ever including last year's playoff run.
CP74 9-8
MIA Heat -8
Over 186 MIA Heat-MEM Grizzlies
BOL crew!
I feel the same way- my only concern is that the heat are not starting a trend but rather in the middle to the end of one- they will not win every game down the road and their will be a lack of effort at some point- While I don't think this is the game in which this happens to win by double digits is very difficult against an inspired team and the grizz seem to be inspired. I however do like the over in this game for the same reasons above. The Grizz are not the Bulls in my opinion they put up 85-90 and miami 95-100 the line is set pretty well if the heat let up- However they are at home and if they work the paint they can get this done and after an almost embarrassing loss against the kings they will play defense on this one, that is my only concern on the over.

I will post stuff I have noticed on the board that I am not particularly happy with which I think is leading to some of the results. This will be around 6pm as I am short on time now.
Will also post how my day went yesterday and what I got out of all 3 games.
Without any disrespect to anyone on this thread and we all know who we are that contribute on a daily basis so I will skip the name dropping.
I think during the last two days we have been tailing a lot, while it is ok to agree and even have the same bets as a group sometimes I get the feeling that we are placing bets just on other peoples insight and not putting our own two cents into the mix. This does not mean that we should are not doing a good job it just means there is room for improvement. To put it another way please try and first do your homework then compare it to others and collaborate, I think this is a more effective tool as just reading and agreeing leads to bias towards those that are having a hot streak etc. I am a big believer in trends ( I am a technical chartist of markets in general ) so lets keep in mind that while trends are a good guide we must not rely on numbers alone and also think of the human element, this is sports played by humans and that affects things. Like some of you have started using the refs to help calculate the potential of an over under situation etc. That is good proof that humans have input in the outcomes and we must be prepared. It also pays to spend $1 or so in a notebook, while computers are great I have realized that using a note book or a white board- yes i have a big board that is why I call things small or big boards because I actually make my own lines then compare them when they come out- the RLM helps me get conviction but my mind for the most part is made up without vegas lines to start, later adjustments are made accordingly. I don't check other peoples picks until I have put up my leans and done initial work. This helps you be responsible for your picks and make initial sounds decision and spot flaws in your system when compared to others and eventually the outcomes.
Hope no one got offended and that this helps out our community as that is what we have become.
Outcomes from yesterday parlays and hedges to follow.

1 very constant rule I try to abide by is don't predict when a team will go on a winning streak and don't predict when a team will lose during a winning streak. Now tonight we have a special case in my opinion as both are on substantial streaks at 8 for Memphis and 12 for Miami. I believe the Heat will take this game as a personal challenge, just like they took on the challenge vs OKC Thursday before the ASB and extend their own streak while ending Memphis' and believe me they remember the loss they had in Memphis

While I think that predicting the start or end of a streak it is very important to spot the reversal.

Hawks are rolling right now and the suns will be feeling content with the win over t he spurs.
The old green men are back home and ready continue on their road to t he playoffs well rested. The warriors will need a big day from 3 point land to stay in this one.
The nets have been feisty on defense of late and mavs have regressed into a bad basketball team again.

Re Turbo post #7386 (my 'quote button is not working!!)
Well said! That is partially why I will post plays other than ones posted as I want to hear discussion. I too use a pen and paper as my weapon of choice but maybe not all because of choice as my typing skills are lacking but I feel I can retain that info and recall it more clear for future profits. Also allows me time to think or even rethink what I am thinking. I also believe predicting your own line is the best place to start when successfully capping
Now Lets get this!!

This is TexanGambler pick on Streak Survivor. He is currently no. 1.
Dal Mavericks+3.5
8-2 ATS after a SU loss
NO Hornets-3.5
looking for a strong game from a Hornets team that is coming off an embarrassing 20 point loss to Oklahoma City on Wednesday and who have been good at home. New Orleans is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games and even without first round pick Anthony Davis will have enough to get by a Pistons squad that has lost three of their last four.

NY Knicks because I see the Wizards trending lower and the Knicks trending higher two teams headed in opposite direction- The knicks showed poise and heart in their last win. Its also very tough to sweep a good team twice- home or away.
Under on DEN Nuggets while Denver has been flying up and down OKC is also fast this will cause for tougher shots in paint and the game may slow down a little. I also notice that trap games meaning -1 or pick games tend to go under- look at pacers clips last night.
Over on MIA game because the heat are at or near 100 on almost every game in the second half of the season I need to see them stink out once before I pick an under on them.

I feel that almost embarrassing lost was a direct result of this game.
Heat have this one circled since November! But what I love most is we will find out in about 3 hours who was right and re-discuss why.

Thats what I look for in the market is when is a bull or bear rally running out of steam then wait for the reversal and trade it until my next EMA or SMA or BB spot

GOLDEN STATE: I see know reason why these guys should by underdogs... Let alone 4 POINTS!!!. Golden State has a young exciting team and I think their speed and energy will out duel the Celtics for a nice straight up win tonight. But I will GLADLY take the points

I am not picking the heat straight up they are part of a parlay however I just decided that by itself I don't see the value rather play the second half.

DALLAS: I think Dallas has the talent to win outright here by several points so I love seeing that I couple points here. Reverse line movement is always a great sign as well.
I'm not sold on Brooklyn. Dallas shows up tonight
