i do think dallas has upset potential though.. dallas has won 5 of their last 6 only loss a 1 pt loss @ san antonio.. their defense has been much better lately with totals being under in 8 of their last 11 games.. 75% of the public is on OKC, never a good thing to be that 1 sided..OKC averages 103ppg on the road, Dallas averages 104ppg at home.. dallas gives up 100ppg at home.. OKC gives up 99ppg on road..dallas 18-12 at home OKC 19-13 on road..
by all means i really do think OKC wins but i think it's a much closer game stat wise than people think, why i took +6 cause i'm just saying wouldn't be shocked if dallas pulled it out late. good luck to everyone on OKC, especially you turbo.
I agree with your stats- which is why for the bigger parlays I went with the ML not the spread-
The lost to Spurs was to a not 100% spurs team, also the hunt for first place on the West is still up for grabs and OKC wants to get closer to that and it will get interesting for OKC in the coming games the competition gets tough- Nuggets Spurs still to be played and OKC looking for revenge.
As for the totals this two teams start off fast then slow it down- Baring a ridiculous pointless foul game (some phantom fouls OKC JAZZ) this game should be under, unless they go to their 3rd OT game of the year which is always possible but not probable.
Thanks for the wishes lets hope OKC wins by 5.

like hou -7.5 and the over 218 and going with under 208 on dal/okc.. dal better prepare their def since that's what theyve been doing lately as they all know they can score.

I will add that it sucks that the OKC game is not on ESPN and/or Live bet. Just incase they pulled off fast in the first and lines went to +10 for mavs would put a couple of bucks on that to hedge.

Took a trip to MD so my old roommate could see my dog. Please indulge why I share a moment with you.
I think the most important attribute of a "process" minded person is the ability to translate a "process" to any given situation. I believe the easiest way to understand a process is to compare it to a process you are very familiar with. For me that most definitely is music. I believe lines/totals can be compared to the Billboard charts.
An important musical quote for me comes from RZA, best known from the Wu Tang Clan. He says, "the dumb are intrigued by the drum." Think about it, it makes sense. The billboard charts are full of songs that are based on catchy tunes or choruses. It grabs the attention of the masses RZA refers to, at the same time causing the more educated listener to dissect the song to see what they're missing. The problem there is, the more you listen, the more you get fooled by the mass appeal. I remember when I first heard Hanson's Mmm Bop. I watched the video so many times trying to figure out if "Taylor" was a boy or a girl, I ended up knowing every word and remembering the kids name was Taylor.
Translation:
The Lines and Totals Vegas sets seem to be comparable. They are intended for the masses RZA refers to and to make the more educated bettor to dissect their data to see what they missed. The lesson for me is to not over think it or fall for the catchy lines.
