You can believe that if you choose. In my post, I was acknowledging the perceptive observation by Phixer earlier in the thread that we were due for a fake LeBron injury. Then, on cue, what do you know, in the very game that Phixer predicted, LeFraud turned his ankle so badly he'd have had you believe he needed a wheelchair after the game. Wow ! Miraculously, in the very next game, two days later, there was no sign whatsoever of the crippling injury. Have you ever experienced a serious ankle sprain ? It doesn't go away in two days. He's a faker.

LBJ always was a shady guy.But he can run circles around anybody and he could score standing still from mid court.He also can hit free throws but many times during the years he missed a few why?If he wants he could win this game but as you know reffs and other players could make bad decisions.

Fix, love the pick as the technical betting angle favors the Dubs. I would like to add the most important factor from a handicapping angle is the long layoff and coaching. Anyone knows off a bye week in the NFL that the great coaches excel w an extra week, (check Bellicheck, Tomlin, Reid). Steve Kerr is a great one, the defensive adjustments in each series has been incredibe. The Cavs are now being Coached by LeRoid for the week especially after the humiliating confession they scratched Blatt's play on his game winner. Lack of respect for Blatt can get you through the East, one on the worst conf on record, but against a historically great team, you will have no shot. Going GS in 4 as I think the mismatches will avalanche on this rag tag bunch of castoffs

Blatt has been incredible coaching this entire playoffs not sure what anyone else has seen but Windhost and Zach Lowe have done great work on Blatt's mastery of switching and defense

phix, i keep it short and sweet. IMO the NBA will not have lebron,arguably,the best player playing the game today,i say,they will not let him be embarrassed and get swept. I pretend you agree with my twisted logic and say , "well,if G.S wins 2 at home ,perhaps the way to thank the Cleveland fans ,and save some lebron face is have the Cleve. squad win the 1st gm in Cleveland. this angle will only apply when the cleve team is down 2-0.  you do good work. good luck, my pick ,Cleveland in 7.

Any Lebron critic w/ common sense is a friend of mine any day. Hell, anyone w/ common sense should be criticizing a player like Lebron.

The finals will play the following way:
If the majority of the books will balance the money on both sides of ATS bets and ML bets (same goes for the totals) before each tip off in the series - we will be able to see straight basketball.
If the books won't be able to balance any of the above and will cover it with Vegas hotels/casinos - and as the result Vegas hotels/casinos will be stuck with unbalanced money/bets - Vegas hotels/casinos will be forced to protect themselves. The rest I will leave for your imagination.
So, in my humble opinion - the betters will decide who will be covering each game and if there will be under or over. Media and sports gurus in meantime will do their best to offset the bets with promoting the unbalanced side in minority pushing it towards balance.
Since Michael Jordan - only Pop has been a lone warrior with his foreign squad and the results show. This season even Pop was thrown in front of the bus and the rest is a history

I am not picking ATS side in game one. The best pick I can see is Under 203. When the teams are rested - the meaning is that the defense will be performing well enough to keep the game Under. But that is a lean so far

100% this guy's got it. Who covers what is all dependent on the bettors. If it is even action, 50-50..refs will call it a fair game and whatever happens..happens. RIght now there is an 87% of bets on the Clev ML...given what phixer has said..im fairly confident GS ML is a SUPER SOLID BET..which is what ill be on. This game will probably be within 2-3 pts the entire game. I cant see any team pulling away. The last 2 min will be a foul game, cavs could cover or not. OR this turns out to be a blowout and GS covers the 6 by halftime with a DD lead and the game easily goes over..

My possible scenarios: 

GS covers the 6..game goes over 203
Cavs cover the 6, game goes under 203 (mainly due to cavs defense, they have to step up in order to cover)

Unlikely: Cavs ML..i just dont see it. And with only 13% backing the GS ML due to high juice..i see this most likely hitting than any other bet tomorrow. 

If cavs pull the W, everyone will be playing GS ML game 2. And Vegas will have to re-adjust their odds..

Not sure about what spread ill take, but regardless of what it is, it has to be one of the options above. Cavs cover, under OR gs cover over. Not both. Will continue to see and read insights on what ppl think on this board. Good luck guys, looking forward to the finals.

its obvious those who thinks lebola is better then kobe yet alone MJ are either:

1. hardcore lebola fans
2. never witness kobe or mj in their primes

and i noticed in forums lots of lebola fans are young people. i guess cuz like #2 they never got to witness kobe or MJ. and now they are comparing a prime james vs a old cripple kobe...who u think they will pick?

so all they do is pull up stats to make their arguments. lebron is a great player no doubt about that. his stats are good. but if u look deeper into his stats and watch him play. they are not that impressive. compared to kobe and MJ. 70% of his career points are from layups and dunks. he relies heavily on his athleticism. but he lacks the versatile of kobe an MJ being able to score all over the floor including difficult shots. thats why his FG is so high cuz of all his easy baskets. and dont even start about mvp or finals mvp's. the players lebron plays for mvp comes nowhere close to the players kobe went up against for mvp.

lebron plays in a weak conference ever. lebron should go to the finals every year in the east. while the west goes to war just to get to the finals. heck they gotta play their behind off just to make it in the playoffs. talents are getting weaker and weaker as it seems. so is defense. only a handful of teams nowadays actually play D.

i've been watching and wagering on NBA basketball for over 45 years,make no mistake,Lebron is a GREAT player.However,he scores most of his points around and close to  the bucket.In this watered down lack of big man NBA,I try to picture him driving to to the rack,with little to no opposition, as he does now, with the players I grew watching guarding him and waiting for him at the rack.Wilt,Russell,Thurmond, Jabbar, Unseld, DeBusshere, Laimbeer, Reed,Gus Johnson,Mo Lucas,Hakeem,or Walton would have turned him into a jump shooter, and not a very good one at that. If i need 1 shot at the  buzzer to win the championship i can think of at least 10 players,starting with MJ ,i'd rather take the shot then Lebron, (Jordan,West,Baylor,Oscar,Bird,Miller, Ray Allen,Havlichek,Sam Jones,Kobe,Earl"the pearl", Hakeem "the dream", Jabbar), just to name a few.actually i can real off another 10 names rather easily. Lebron playing will  keep TV ratings high,(imagine if it were the Hawks in the finals) and the socially media addicted public will eat up the "storyline"(as it is with Caitlyn Jenner lol),but the bottom line is the $$$$$$ and in the long run the league (and Vegas) is better off with GSW winning, Phix you are soooo correct

scc you are correct ,non of those players are playing,I was only agreeing with several of the posters that said other players are "better" then LJ. GSW do not have any player(s) to prevent him from getting to and scoring around the bucket.I was just listing players I'd rather see with the ball and the game on the line.The contrasting styles of the  2 finalist teams is interesting to me.A finese passing jump shooting GSW vs a 1/2 court Lebron 1-1 then dish Cav. team.The officiating ,as usual will determine the outcome.

Agree with the officiating angle, and as you can see with the refs installed for game #1 it has already begun to be the Cavs and LeBron show.  his legacy is too important to the league

Somehow a player's greatness is only determined by how many buzzer beaters he can hit.

if you guys could think for yourselfs instead of letting journalists direct thought...lebron is a top 3 player of all time.

in addition mj isnt the player stern the fater of marketing built him up to be.  mj still makes the league a ton of money today so they'll still run with the goat talk but cmon man....

funny you say that cause when the game was physical MJ didnt win a damn thing in the nba.

it wasnt until refs were on his side did bulls go on runs.  you couldnt touch mj past 1990.

being an nba coach is being a part of the system. blatt is not that. one of his players is but not him. as i stated in my comment on mellosingnet's thread - lbj was forced on blatt and he had no choice but to have him otherwise he would not take a player like lbj who is disgrace to a team play.
if i was a coach i would never want a player like lbj on my team. none of you paid attention to the fact that his so called "best numbered" game with a triple double was his worse game by the same numbers missing over 25 shots. he can be a weapon at times but he is a pawn. he is million miles from mj. and will always stay there.
i like the cavs - i like kyrie and kevin kove, i like delavedova and jr smith. they would be better off without lbj.  thompson is a great committment player like others - lbj is an individualist playing basketball - that is why no matter how many rings he will get and how many buzzer beaters he will produce - he will always stay a small time crook player and will never even elevate to the level of kobe.
i know i am hurting lost of people ut that is my truth whether you like it or not. 
now the warriors with curry are too new to this level and experience means a lot. but they are lucky that they are facing a team with similar experience at this level. the only difference is that the cavs have a coach who won thing or two. no one mentions here that he won the european championship with russia against all odds and only remember his recent win of the euroleague with maccabi tel aviv from israel. you did not see the odds he was facing with both of the teams mentioned. he is a best in game coach i have ever seen. the best. one that can change the flow of the game by producing the match up no one thought about. he is consistent and self confident. lbj is a dbag for treating him in a way that we will think that lbj is coaching the cavs and not blatt. pop would never have a player like lbj on his team. can you argue that?
so. it is actually blatt against curry and lbj and not curry against lbj. who will win? if blatt wins over lbj - the cavs are the champions. if not - the warriors. and the later is closer to the high probability than the earlier. why? because we are not accepting a better people for only reason that they are not yet corrupted as we are

what do you mean by pop is the last real coach?

do coaches throw games in the regular season with brash lineups and benching key players?
