Anyways, today I think the Texans are the more competitive squad. Bowman is out, Reggie Bush is out. The coaching staff says that Kaepernick will play one quarter... but I would bet that every snap Kaepernick is out there, so too will be the Texans' first string D, and I think you guys already know how I feel about that group.
The Texans' O has more to prove. In an apples for apples comparison of the QBs likely to be playing in the Second and Third Quarters, I would take Mallett every time. Mallett stretches the field vertically often. He struggled to put points on the board against the Browns in his only NFL action, but I came away with the impression that he would be a high percentage passer in the NFL on throws of 20+ yards.
Gabbert is pretty meh, accurate enough to move the chains but hopefully not accurate enough to move the team all the way there. Film is limited on him from 2014 so the best I can say is his range is 10-15 yards downfield, which doesn’t help him with explosive plays.
I’m playing the Texans -3...

Gotta get back on the horse...
Those Rams man, so flat.

I decided to throw a hail mary on a $3 longshot parlay on my leans. Texans/under, chiefs/under, bucs/under, eagles/over. 3 dollars to win 600. I honestly think that no game goes over today, but if so it will be the chiefs/arizona who have experienced or talented backup qb... We'll see i'll just throw a lifeline up to God!

I was thinking they would... But with every lean other than hou i wasn't sold 100% so i just put it in a longshot parlay.. I was too busy watching the Texans ill have to watch the Vikings destroy them later...
However, other than my three dollar parlay going up in flames, great night for me. The Texans took care of business. It sucks that i couldnt have been more solid on any other play, but i only saw one true mismatch imo, so i took the texans -3 $65 to win $62 and really regretted it... I really need to stick to the script, because had i lost that bet it would have stung pretty bad to nullify my success like that. When the season starts ill up my bet size but for now, preseason is too random, especially on totals which are my favorite.
Preseason record 6-1 Tonight's plays- 1-0

Sunday play: Phi/Indy over 41.5. Not going to be an easy hit, i know, because scrubs are still scrubs, so heres where my hope lies:
1. Chip Kelly's offense is designed to beat opponents with scheme and speed, and was originally developed as a way to win with teams that lacked size and talent. That matches up well with the preseason dynamic, so i believe Kelly's team will not only convert at a high percentage (for third stringers) but they will also do so quickly.
2. Andrew Luck will play at least one, maybe two series. Luck has been using virtual reality technology to prepare for this coming season, a technology which apparently Luck was the first to become privvy to as it was developed by a Stanford kicker. Anyways, they used it on a Stanford QB last year and apparently his completion percentage went up 10 points and his ints fell drastically. Two series with Andrew Luck is probably going to get you 10 points.
3. Mark Sanchez starting the game helps the over. He has played in this system for longer than Bradford and understands it. He is likely to play the whole first half so that will greatly help the odds that the first half could see three scoring drives, hopefully the Eagles put up 17.
4. Matt Hasslebeck vs. scrubs. Yes please!
Halftime score - Eagles 17 Colts 13
After that i only need 12 points so i like my odds...
Bol to all lets get em

Nice run... just wondering where can u find whos starting and how long starters are going to be in for? Is there a site that gives the scoop or maybe posted on their team website?

Fist you must truly eat n sleep football. I've been trying to watch all the pre season games on my dvr but keep falling asleep.
I've been looking into detroit some like I said I would on another thread, they look better than I thought. You are right about their back end safeties, much improved. Good riddance to reggie bush. Abdullah and Bell looks like a scary combo.
Golden tate is still under estimated I feel by the average joe.
Vikings...year 2 of norv turner and this sh*t is clicking. Look at norv turners history w/ running backs, unreal he has AP to play w/ now. I've been a Bridgewater fan for a while. People dismiss him as a bad QB, squares(my friends) mostly because he wasn't great last year. What rookie QB's minus Andrew luck doesn't have a rough start when coming into this leauge? Anyway he finished last year well, smart kid and very poised. Im concerned w/ Phil Loadholdt's season ending Achilles injury. What a shame, he was a great run blocking tackle. Any info on his back up??
Anyhow, great insight man. Nice start on pre season.

How can anyone say he is a bad QB or wasn't great last season? Under those circumstances he WAS great. Like you said, he finished well.

Summa, I know what you are saying. I meant he wasn't great through a squares eyes. I liked what I saw from him a lot. Had a few growing pains early on, but considering what he had to work w/(like you mentioned) he did very well for a rookie.

Hey guys, I’ve already had a blast placing my picks here, and I’m glad to have made a little bit of a positive difference with you degenerates so far!
You guys are all free to PM me, especially Suuma, to discuss my picks for the season I will check my account every week.
I will, however, no longer be giving my picks away. I knew from the start that I was going to be over 60%. Last year I may not have been an active participant, but I regularly checked and laughed at some of the picks and reasonings people used. I felt like I wanted to set people straight, but instead I am beginning to realize that my product is too strong and I’d be doing myself a disservice to not try to market my brand a little more. I truly believe that Sports Gambling is going to be legal within the coming years and I want to be at the forefront of the movement.
I remember in 2010 I won my fantasy football league, but I wasn’t paid out. It sucked… but it gave me an idea… a fantasy football site that would have a centralized fund account. I did the research and found out that fantasy football was considered a “contest of skill” by the federal law so I would be able to legally take money for these contests. I believed it would be a viable business… but I didn’t jump on it. My site was going to be called Fantom.com. I missed out pretty bad…
Nowadays I believe that Gamble-centric football analysis with entertaining articles (I wrote for both my High School and College Papers) has the potential to be the best style of Football entertainment.
I plan on having paid and unpaid content, but for now I am still learning the technical side of things.
I am not, for now, going to divulge the web domain, but I will once I figure it all out. Thanks again for you guys’ interest, have a great season!

Ok, so I read your link to this so called "tout" horror story. This guy used a service that constantly called him? One of those dudes who says he has insider information?
I have no insider information. I watch tape. My skills are being able to diagnose scheme and ability to execute scheme as well as weighing that against the opposition's ability to execute THEIR scheme in opposition.
If you can read this whole thread, see my thorough analysis and still say such hurtful things about me you seriously have issues. I already said if you want to PM me for picks I'll gladly help you out, but I also want people to have a place to go for quality analysis.
Building a web site isn't free. The hours that I have already put into my contribution to Covers I have done without receiving a dime in compensation other than my bankroll growing from my sound analysis and laborious film watching.
You don't want it? fine, not for you, but to call me a tout is ridiculous.

importunately: you are on my thread son. I am not a salesman, I am a analyst. I am good at what I do so why are you attacking me? because I don't want to do it for free?

Glad you revealed your true colors after the first week of a very ill-advised preseason betting run.
Honestly I had hoped to follow the forum and see Summa and your discussions on the regular season games because it would've been a good read. I as well as a few others have gone 6-1, 7-1 this past week but won't be charging for picks because basing your merit on 1 week of preseason is ludacris.
Anyway I hope to still see u discussing on here, otherwise Summa and Amd will be the guys me and the others discuss football with. Don't come back, because if u change ur mind and make 3 picks in a row you'll just go tout again.
