i see value CONN 50/1 and Chicago 30/1 for futures. conn is def a playoff team and chicago will surprise people without EDD. cooper is gonna be good and they will run and gun sharing the ball. la is gonna regress. minn will be ok but they are just getting old.

I definitely see a lot of value with some of those other teams with futures. Definitely hedgable in the future as well. The only team's I dont think will do much this season is the Dream, Fever, Stars and Wings. Still thing these 4 teams will miss the post-season.

So we have a few teams that have made the final cuts already which is good because now I can assess these teams..
Indiana Fever:
Candice Dupree
Briann January
Marissa Coleman
Tiffany Mitchell
Natalie Anchowna
Shenise Johnson
Erlana Larkins
Erica Wheeler
Jeanette Pohlen
Nadia Colhado
Feyonda Fitzgerald
Erica McCall.
One thing that sticks out to me is that they have no depth. If they suffer 1-2 injury setbacks, its going to be a long year for the Fever. Larkins will always be a beast. I was surprised they kept Pohlen though. Tamika obviously a massive loss and I don't think that Dupree is the right candidate to fill her shoes but we shall see this season.

This team is stacked in the guards positions. One thing I have noticed as well and this will be due to Brondello, is that they have 3 Australian's in this line up, Mitchell, Talbot and George. Mitchell is coming off a HUGE season here in Oz. She will be one of the players off the bench you need to look out for. Same goes with Talbot and George. Talbot's first season in the WNBA but she was so impressive this season. I like the look of this team. Brondello looks like she is going small ball. Apart from Griner who is 6'8, and George who is 6'4, the rest of the girls are 6'2 and shorter. George will most certain be the back up centre for Griner which is a good thing. Brondello is gearing this team to be an offensive juggernaut after she has lost Dupree and Bonner. The Overs in the Mercury games in the right spot could be nice this season. They will definitely make the post-season with this line-up unless they have a bad run with injuries.

Definitely see a lot of value in both Liberty and the Mystics once the Mystics figure out their pieces. Liberty with Prince back this season will be a beast as long as Charles stays fit. Seattle a sleeper team no doubt and Sue Bird and Stewart have both been declared fit for the first game as well

Yeah the Wings and Liberty not to the best team to back. Wings when they were Tulsa were a lot better. They are taking a very young team into this new season. They should be very streaky at certain times in the season.

Good team if you ask me.. Very young team, with just Toliver and Latta the ones 30 or over. This is it for Thibault, he has the team to win this thing. He has been given the pieces to the puzzle that were needed with EDD and Toliver. Toliver like I have mentioned, shot 42% from 3 point land last season. If she hits that again, then look out. EDD will just be a beast like we know. Then you have Meesseman at Centre and her replacement is Thomas when she needs a break. Asia Taylor is massive. She absolutely tore up the Aussie league this year and her team won the championship losing just 3 games across 24 games and the league is a very well competitive league with several import players. I like this team a lot and with the brains of Thibault, if they don't win the East or at least finish 2nd after some adjustments and a teething period, then Thibault must go.

Well Mystics have their final roster now as well.
Washington Mystics
Elena Delle Donne
Emma Meesseman
Ivory Latta
Natasha Cloud
Tierra Ruffin-Pratt
Kristi Toliver
Asia Taylor
Tianna Hawkins
Krystal Thomas
Tayler Hill
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough
Jennie Sims

In very surprising news, Erin Phillips has been waived by the Wings for this season. Thats a ballsy move but clearly they want Skylar Diggins running the show. They have their final roster
Dallas Wings
Skylar Diggins
Courtney Paris
Theresa Plaisance
Glory Johnson
Karima Christmas
Aerial Powers
Kayla Thornton
Evelyn Akhator
Allisha Gray
Kaela Davis
Breanna Lewis
Sanyia Chong
WOW!!! Another very young side with Paris the oldest player at 30. One thing that is a clear understanding of this team is that they want to build something for the future. I expect their starting 5 to do well but then its the bench that worries me a lot. They won't have much depth or experience. I expect this team to fade away halfway during the season and their likelihood of making the top 8 is almost non-existent with this line-up. Taking 5 rookies into a brand new season is not good and especially when you have Williams as coach. If they had Thibault or someone else with a better knowledge, then maybe take the risk but this season might be disastrous for the Wings.

As I was typing out the names 2 things stood out to me.
1. WOW, this team is full of tall girls. Dantas, 6'3, Lyttle 6'4, Morello 6'4, Holivay 6'4 and Williams 6'3. It looks to me after the loss of Angel this season that this team is going to play a lot of tall ball and not like a lot of the other teams where they will be playing small ball. Its not a bad option to counter the loss of Angel because in the WNBA, not too many teams can stop big players..
2. This team is stacked full of experience and only taking 1 rookie into this season. Another good option considering they have lost Angel. They need the experience in games to carry them through quiet periods of the games. They will struggle against the big teams but might do very well against the middle of the pack teams. After seeing this final roster, my thoughts have them changed slightly and I think they can maybe claim a low playoff spot.

Bria Holmes
Elizabeth Williams

Brittney Sykes

Absolutely love this team. Finally they have got the pieces to the puzzle they needed now to push the big teams in this league. So glad Whitcomb made the cut as well. Note this right now, "Aussie told you from Day 1 to watch this girl". She had some massive games in Oz this season with 30+ points in several games as well as a few 40+ point games as well. She basically carried the team herself almost. She will be great off the bench. The bench is deep as well. Im assuming the starting 5 will be Bird, Stewart, Loyd, Clark and Swords and then coming off the bench the other 7 players. This team is stacked and if they don't push for a top 4 spot overall in the final standings then this season was a joke. Looking forward to seeing Stewart, Loyd and Bird combine together.

Breanna Stewart
Noelle Quinn
Jewell Loyd
Alysha Clark

Waiting on the lines but I am very interested in backing the Storm.
The Liberty will win but I am interested in the line. I probably will pass on the game, but I find this match up interesting because right off the get go the Liberty will be expected to cover a double digit line and seeing how in their history at home they don't do well. Will the Liberty improvements make a difference against a team that was a bottom team last year and looks to be on the bottom again according to the odds.
Nothing is ever in the bank until it is in the bank

Sun ended last year on a 15-5 ATS run. In those 20 contests they were only favored 3 times. The Dream beat the Sun all 4 times last year but the spread results were even 2-2.
The Dream should be favored here, but with all the covering the Sun did to end the year could the Sun be small Favorites or a pick em?

That is an insane line.. Unless there are injuries we are unsure of but maybe the books are really thinking the Sparks are the same as last season which they are not.

I tried to create a profile but unfortunately it doesn't allow me to join the contest because I am out of US.
Plum is good to go now as well Spottie. Not sure about Jefferson though. The Stars looked bad in their last pre-season game but thats because they played a bad rotation in that game and rested. If the line is right Spottie, the Stars might be a great bet.
