YTD: 43-26It was a shame to see the Sun lose the other night vs the Mercury but once again, they fall short and face a very determined Mercury team who took advantage of their mental lapses throughout a game. They were up by 9 at one point and some how blew it. Miller can only do so much as a coach, it has to fall back on their players as well. Moving on.Phoenix Mercury @ Seattle Storm Game #1: Storm -5.5This is what my Aussie book has offered me as an early line (Sportsbet) and I will gladly take it. Either way, I see the Storm winning this game by 10-15 points. The Mercury are coming off a hard fought game where their big 3 scored 77 points. The rest of the team didn&#x27;t score much. Griner has to handle 2 bigs in the starting line-up with Howard and Stewart. Good luck to BG. Unlike the Sun, they only had Jones and Griner did quite well but when you have 2 bigs on the opposite side, it will be tough and I think thats where the Mercury falls short and misses Sancho Lyttle. Howard for me has been the unsung hero for the Storm this year behind Stewart and I just think they have too many weapons for the Mercury to contain.

Shakey, good to see you still around mate. I have no clear lean until I do further capping for the totals mate. Mercury don&#x2019;t defend and rely on their offense. The other game could really go either way as well, Dream need to make their shots and they can&#x2019;t rely on the 3 ball because they aren&#x2019;t the best at them. Mystics could have a bad shooting night also against a solid D compared to the Sparks who were just buggered from travel

Tough loss the other day. Seattle took a decent 15 point lead in the 3Q but once again we saw the Mercury play hard until the final whistle and the Storm were very poor in the 4Q. Hopefully Dan Hughes blew them up for that. Should never have let it get that close in a playoff game after leading by so many.

Tuesday's games.

Mercury playing their 3rd straight road game, on not much rest either. Its actually their 4th game in just 8 days since the playoffs started and Storm just the one game. Line is the same as last game, gotta think the legs start to feel a little tired now after playing playoff basketball 4 times in 8 days and 3 of those will be on the road?

Mystics/Dream. Hard game to cap this one. EDD was the key factor. Toliver a no show. Cloud was great as well and so was Sanders. The Dream finally figured out how to play the Mystics but it was a little too late. Line is just at -1.5 for the Mystics but I don't think the Dream go away so easily. I think they come to play hard in this game. Bentley was the person who stood up in Game#1, Hayes not so much and thats what I was saying before hand, the injury to Angel was massive because she has such big game experience and looks to have really enjoyed playing ball this year after Cooper left Atlanta. She isn't all about scoring this season and she is happy to share the ball around. Sucks she got injured though because IMHO that was their championship chance gone. But, its always tough for any road team in the playoffs to win 2 straight games so hopefully Atlanta can get a nice win tonight so Game #3 isn't a must win for them.

Phoenix Mercury @ Seattle Storm Game #2: Under 177.5

Explained above, Mercury 4th in 8 nights with cross country travel and have been shooting lights out lately. Don't expect that to continue tonight. Both teams hit their 3's last game and shot very well. This is playoff basketball and the Storm need to play some D tonight as they don't want to give the Mercury many chances to win tonight because DT is on fire and they will steal a win if the Storm aren't dialled in.

tailed you on this one Aussie. Loved the play. I was lucky to get it at under 178, so I pushed. But that is a one in a million loss. When the storm were up by ten the odds for OT were +800 with 4 minutes left. Never even thought about hedging. LOL

I know nothing about the WNBA, is it always a s h i t show like this? Or even the previous game where Seattle blew the cover. This is like women's tennis, maybe worse. I came here thinking the market would be a bit more stable:)

Hey BB, Good to see you mate.It was just one of those bets/games which like you said, was one in a million. The WNBA is getting much sharper so the market is slowly losing is value because before hand the books didn&#x27;t care as much as they used to about this game. Some games are like the NBA, theatrical and horrible calling from refs. You got lucky getting a push, I saw the line get to 179 and wish I made the bet a little later on.

I got it about 40 minutes before tip, so maybe it went up some. Interesting point regarding the vegas cappers creating sharper lines as more people bet on this stuff. I think the Storm are an unbelievable team, but something is fishy about these two losses. Both should have been dd wins. Hard for me to put money on a team like that unless the line is 1 or 2 points.
