So as mentioned before, key players out for the season or missing sometime are;

Maya Moore (resting this season)
Diana Taurasi (9-12 weeks - back surgery)
Candace Parker (5-7 weeks - hamstring injury)
Skylar Diggins-Smith (unknown - gave birth)
Breanna Stewart (season - ACL)
Angel McCoughtry (unknown - recovering from injury)
Moriah Jefferson (unknown - wants to rest)
Victoria Vivians (season - ACL)

@ 6.00 aces championship, took it, holy crap, they look so scary 

So it looks as though Agler was able to persuade Jefferson into playing this season. Good for the Wings, they needed a guard and now they look decent this season with those 2 signings and a few others.

As for the Aces, their starting line-up is just insane but they lack guards and I also worry about Wilson/Cambage combo. It could be like the Sun combo last season with Jones/Chiney. They are too players who absolutely love having the ball in their hands and now they have to share. Need to see where this goes. Laimbeer has to deliver this season with this current squad. By the looks of it, he may only take 1 rookie into the new season with him where other teams might take 2-3.

so you guys thinking UNDER 22.5 wins for the aces??  

Hmm, a 23-11 season is definitely possible from this team. Might take a few games to gel with new players but they do lack guards. But I guess they will just go inside all the time to Cambage/Wilson and then you have McBride who is a good long range shooter. I would probably take that over Ricky or no play at all.

That's it, pre-season is done. Now teams have 5 days to waive players and get their roster down to 12 players.

Few little takes from pre-season which really cant be a true reflection of the team though because some players were out of rotation/rested.

The Lynx and Sims looked good. Maybe, just maybe Reeve is the coach to steer Sims in the right direction. She has the skill and talent, just needs to use it.

Wade and the Sky. Little concerning this team couldn't crack 70 points.

Indy actually won some games. They will be much better this season with Johnson back. Good starting 5 actually. Laney IMHO will be a big player this season. She was on fire in Oz earlier this year

Sun looked good and don't need Chiney

Sparks have some serious roster waiving/cutting to do. They can't hold all those players with the cap space. Someone big will have to go.

Aces didn't get a chance to put Cambage into their line-up at all during pre-season so that will be fun to see how they go on opening night.

Will update rosters when teams have finalised their rosters.

A few cuts/waives..

Aces waived Saniya Chong and Alex Harden, leaving them at 14 players.

The Wings waived both Aussies, Kayla George and Nicole Seekamp. They are at 17 with Diggins included. Still unsure if she plays this season.

Great work as always! I found a rouge 10 to 1 for Vegas to win the championship. Everywhere else it seems to be 4 -6 to 1.

Thanks MattyP. Mate that is great value. Definitely worth 1-2 units at 10/1 odds for a team that has two of the best big girls in the league.

Figured as much. Book is Mybookie.ag if anyone has an account with them. They still have Seattle at 3 to 1, whereas pinny has Seattle now at 11 to 1 after the Stewart injury. Looks like they haven't touched the odds since they first put them out.

That is insane. Like you said, they haven't changed the original odds before Stewie injury.

There is a lot of value out there.

Some values plays for 1-2 units of the bankroll. Just need to see the final rosters before making bets.

Aces are already down to 14 players so there won't be too many changes to that roster. I do like Lavender being signed by the Sky. Adds more depth to their roster and their team is looking really good. Just worry about new coach.

Jantel Lavender has been traded to the Sky and the Sparks get a 2nd round draft pick.

A few roster cuts have been made, mostly rookies so won't post them as its quite a large list.

Some teams still sit around 17 players so big cuts still need to be made before the 23rd May.
