The 2025 Genesis Invitational has a packed field led by the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and a host of others.

This year's event was forced to relocate from Los Angeles to Torrey Pines in San Diego.

Scheffler enters the week as the betting favorite on the Genesis Invitational odds board but he's never won the event.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler posted three bogeys and a double in the back nine of the WM Phoenix Open, finishing T25 after being in the hunt entering the final round. Still, he started his year with a T9 at Pebble Beach and books remain bullish with him opening as the betting favorite at Torry Pines.

Scheffler finished T10 at the 2024 Genesis, which immediately preceded a tremendous run of success where he won four of his next five tournaments and finished T2 at the other.

This field is due to be competitive, though, with Rory McIlroy entering his first event since winning Pebble Beach two weeks ago.

Hideki Matsuyama, the defending champion of the Genesis Invitational, is fourth on the odds board. He opened the year with a win at The Sentry but has had mixed results in the four tournaments since, tying Scheffler at the WM Phoenix Open this past weekend. Matsuyama is the only former Genesis Invitational winner among the favorites.

Sitting between McIlroy and Matsuyama is Collin Morikawa, who finished second at The Sentry and T17 at Pebble Beach.

Rounding out the top five is Justin Thomas, who is coming off a T6 at Scottsdale and finished runner-up to Sepp Straka at The American Express.

One man who will not be in the field is Tiger Woods, who withdrew from the tournament on Monday, stating he's still processing the death of his mother.
