Game 3 of the 2022 World Series was pushed back a day due to rain, but that hasn't pumped the brakes on our excitement surrounding a certain slugging catcher.
The clubs split the first two tilts in Houston with Phillies backstop J.T. Realmuto hitting the keynote homer that put his team on top for good in the 10th inning of Game 1. That performance has positioned him as the betting favorite in World Series MVP odds.
He could come up clutch again, so without further ado, here are our three favorite MLB prop picks for J.T. Realmuto on Tuesday, November 1.

J.T. Realmuto World Series Game 3 props
Realmuto runs home
Realmuto has been enjoying hitting ahead of red-hot teammate Bryce Harper in these playoffs, and both of them should be at it again in Game 3. Harper’s performance could go a long way in determining whether or not Realmuto crosses the plate on Tuesday night.
The Phillies catcher is naturally seeing better pitches than Harper, who owns a 1.230 OPS in the 2022 postseason and is a scary prospect to pitch to. Now Realmuto is essentially asking opposing hurlers to pick their poison from the No. 3 spot in the order.
The Oklahoma native has had a good eye at the plate since the playoffs started, recording a .345 OBP, which is in line with his .342 OBP from the regular season. In his three games prior to Saturday, Realmuto reached base in eight of 12 plate appearances.
If Realmuto doesn’t drive himself in, as he’s done in two of his last four games, Harper could add to his team-high 11 RBI with Realmuto on base. Bettors should note that Realmuto and Harper each went 1-for-3 off Astros Game 3 starter Lance McCullers Jr. when these teams met on Oct. 3 and that they may use what they saw that day to better their respective approaches.

It takes two (bags)
Realmuto had a three-game streak with at least two total bases broken up on Saturday when he went only 1-for-4 with a single and two strikeouts in the Game 2 loss. But bettors should back him to start a new streak on Tuesday night at generous odds.
Realmuto slugged a robust .478 in the regular season and is at .469 in that department in the postseason. He’s had three multi-hit games in the playoffs, and four of his 13 hits have gone for extra bases.
The Phils catcher tends to record his hits in bunches. Take the month of August, for example, when he sandwiched a 1-for-17 skid with three multi-hit games (in all of which he hit a homer) with a run of six multiple-base games in eight chances. Realmuto is hot at the plate right now, and McCullers is fresh off his worst start of the year, and he let up four runs (three earned) on eight hits and a walk to an ice-cold Yankees team in Game 4 of the ALCS.
Prop: Over 1.5 TB (+145 at DraftKings)
Swing for the fences
If Realmuto jumps the yard for the third time in five games, not only would we hit this prop at a nice price, but our other two wagers would cash as well, all on one swing! Let’s take the plunge.
Realmuto can be streaky at the dish, as he had three separate three-game streaks with a home run this season and another streak in which he homered on two consecutive nights. So it’s not far-fetched to think that he’ll go deep again and tally his fourth postseason dinger.
McCullers may be hesitant to pitch to Harper, and that could help Realmuto get a pitch or two that’s right over the plate.
