NASCAR makes its debut at World Wide Technology Raceway at the Gateway Motorsports Park this weekend for the inaugural Enjoy Illinois 300.
Winner's Circle staple Denny Hamlin picked up his second victory of the year last week, perhaps building some momentum in what's been a difficult season for him and other NASCAR favorites thus far.
Will this new track help restore order, or bring another underdog winner?
Here's a breakdown of the pre-race Enjoy Illinois 300 odds, getting underway Sunday, June 5 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Enjoy Illinois 300 pre-race favorites
Kyle Busch (+800)
Busch has been on a serious heater this season, finishing second in last weekend's Coca-Cola 600 to bring himself within striking distance of the Cup Series points lead. Busch has finished Top 10 in seven of the last eight points-paying races, with four in the Top 3, including a win in the Dirt Race.
Kyle Larson (+800)
So, 2022 hasn't exactly built on last year's championship momentum for Larson, who finished ninth last week at Charlotte and has posted just one Top-3 finish in the last 11 races. He sits just ninth overall in the points standings but remains a threat to get hot at any point, hence his odds here.
Martin Truex Jr. (+900)
Truex continues to see his name towards the top of the odds board despite consistent middling results this season. While he's fifth in points on the season, Truex has rarely been in contention, posting no finish better than fourth thus far among just two Top-5 finishes.
Denny Hamlin (+900)
Hamlin's results this season are fairly hilarious. In 11 of the 14 points-paying races thus far, he's finished 13th or worse, with seven finishes in the bottom half of the field. He's finished Top 4 in the other three, winning two of them. A second-place finish in the All-Star Race gives Hamlin a streak of fourth, second, and now first coming off last weekend's Coca-Cola 600 win, so perhaps one of NASCAR's most prolific drivers is getting the hang of the new ride after a lackluster start.
How to bet on NASCAR
The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.
Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
