Quaker State 400 pre-race favorites
Ryan Blaney (+1,000)
Blaney's All-Star Race win remains an outlier on the season, though he's picked up three Top-6 finishes in the past four races to land second in the Cup Series standings. Despite a 17th at Atlanta earlier this season, he scored a win and a fifth there last season, which is enough to rank him as a co-favorite entering what sportsbooks are pegging as a highly uncertain race.
Ross Chastain (+1,000)
Chastain looks to continue his stellar 2022 campaign, which has seen him post four straight Top-10 finishes, on top of two wins already this season. Chastain was runner-up in March's visit to Atlanta, cementing both the track history and current form to put forth another strong showing.
Chase Elliott (+1,000)
Another two-time winner and still the current points leader, Elliott has weathered his rough stretch from May and now has three straight Top-10 finishes, including a victory and second-place result in the past two races. He'll look to improve upon his sixth-place result at Atlanta earlier this year
Six drivers tied at +1,200
As if a three-way among the favorites wasn't enough, there are six drivers knotted at +1,200 odds for the Quaker State 400:
- William Byron (winner at Atlanta in March)
- Kyle Larson (defending Cup Series champ)
- Kyle Busch (Top-5 finishes in both Atlanta races last year)
- Joey Logano (two wins in last two months)
- Denny Hamlin (two wins this year)
- Bubba Wallace (looking to bounce back from last week's crash)
How to bet on NASCAR
The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.
Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
